Poll numbers this early and public opinion is absolutely asinine. Report the FACT of election results, NOT OPINIONS about unsubstantiated polls and about what some people think.
We also don't know how those poll questions were phrased. Or who they polled.
Other nations have laws that prevent campaigning and fundraising from consuming so much of politicians time, some nations only see candidates campaign 60 days, 4 weeks, or 14 days before an election by contrast.

Originally, the panda's were a gift from China to Nixon, w the understanding that it was actually a loan. The loans have gone on w other big zoos that prove worthy. The loans are usually for 10-15 yrs, which puts them at prime breeding age, and usally they have had a cub or 3. Then they go home to China to help w building up their population. Canada had pandas, but due to a huge bamboo shortage yrs ago, they had to give them back. It takes LOTS of bamboo to feed a panda, plus awesome vets and zoomeepers. Not as easy as some other endangered animals.

That is so true. I was watching an interview last week where some middle-aged USA government official was saying things that made absolutely no sense regarding pregnancy and abortion. My 14 yr old looked shocked and burst out laughing. She asked me if they didn't have biology in the American schools. I didn't know what to tell her.

I couldn't help but fast forward to the Panda story after listening to the initial breifly. It's been a long day. I never saw them in person but love them.
