- This is not a video to show which is better or faster, just a video of two friends having fun on track.
- 918 owner never been on track since he had it
- LaF had very used Pzero Corsa semislick
You can see that half track is wet and the 918 was faster, mostly coming out from slow corners as it is 4wd.
In the dry section of the track I was faster. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
So good knowing there are owners using these cars properly

Interesting. Firstly, thank you. I enjoyed that. Second, it does seem to bear out and prove certain assumptions. The 918 has 4x4 and really gets off slow corners well. The LaF has more power, less weight, and a beautiful chassis. The La Ferrari does seem to make slightly higher demands of its driver, but in the fast open stuff it seems to be the quicker car, by quite a margin. In the slow and tight stuff, the 918 has 4x4 and so it has an edge.
Completely agree mate, rare to see a reasonable comment such as yours. Taking a look at the p1 vs 918 vid around Laguna seca will prove your point :)

I never thought there would be some car that can take away like that from a LaFerrari. Mind you, the circuit was wet, but it's still very impressive.
The 918 is the underdog that keeps on delievering.

I don't know if we watched the same video, but in THIS video, the only time the 918 was able to pull ahead, was only in low km/h because of the awd. Corners? LaFerrari was faster, str8 line speed? The LaFerrari WALKED the 918. I mean, the LaFerrari guy short shifted and let off the throttle all the time because the pass would have been too easy!!! I couldn't believe it when he first did it but then he did it again...and again...and again...He was toying with the 918. I am sad by that result. And amased!!!

Well, I am not a pro and I had finished tyres so It wasn't easy for me in the wet. I think I was the problem and not the car. Infact from Turn Pouhun to blanchimont that was dry, I was faster and able to catch the gap lost.

I also understand you have to be very careful.. Spa is very tricky track.. I will subscribe to your channel your videos are fantastic !!

I am not going to comment about the low speed corners because the trach was wet and you were with samislicks. What I am about to commend, and I was AMASED by it, was the str8 line speed difference... I mean...it was like the 918 was NOTHING compaired to your LaFerrari. Congratulations to you and your friend, because you DRIVE those cars. Thanks for the video. (I can say that I am a little jealous)

It's clear that the advantage of the 918 is due to the 4 wd and bad tires of LaF. And the 918 have that extra juice when the batteries have some charge... But of course that the porsche is a very fast car, too.

One driver never been at the track with his porsche + Otherdriver was using extreme semi slick tyres in a wet surface = unpredictable loads of fun

The Caterham vanished at 4.45 :) just like in Ayrton videos.
LaF is a bit to sensible under weight transfer caused by fast direction change and longitudinal g especialy on a bumby track as Nordschleife. In real life is for sure more pleasent. But on track it could use less roll and dive for less hard work. But its clear this is a instability programed to work with the sistems. Ferrari could easly made this faster on track.
P1 is hard as a rock and could have problems also in bumby track as Nord.
918 is a bit heavy and ironically could be more compliant over bumps.

For the ones saying the 918 is kicking his ass, you should remember, even though the LaFerrari has lots of amazing computers, the 918 has 10 times more computers doing all the work for the driver. The LaFerrari is a bit more "old school" if you may say, it lets you do all the work without interrupting with the computers. I'll take the LaFerrari or P1 anytime!

great video,but the pilot LaFerrari brakes too early, is reaccelerating before finishing straight because early braked,had several chances to overtake and was afraid, even though two friends playing have to force more the car that already is in a closed circuit

To the people who keep saying that he was letting off too early, you do know that he's driving a 950hp Ferrari with 700+ lb of torque IN THE RAIN. He can't go all out on a wet track like he can on a dry track, or else he'd be in the dirt or in a wall.
Your passenger can't have much more storage space on his iphone :P

The Laferrari's ERS is recovering energy everywhere it can, even under heavy braking and part throttle.
The 918 has amazing power out of corners. The LF seems to catch on slowly on a straight line and then more so when braking.

Many, many twitchy moments! Love it!
You can see how 918 got more advantage in the wet mainstraight with its AWD, but then again LaFerrari Power shows in the uphills

Hai delle skill evidenti, il fatto che guidi quasi 1000 cavalli senza elettronica è semplicemente arrapante. Perché non fai un video per spiegare come sei arrivato a livello Yoda nella guida? Tipo se hai seguito o meno scuole di guida veloce, dove, per quanto tempo, da quali macchine hai cominciato ecc. Grande canale comunque.
Did Ferrari contact you about this video? Because they look a bit "scary" about any vs P1 or 918. I hope you won't be banned :) from buying any of their future limited cars.
LF looks more 'snappy' than the 918, which does seem to go wide (not sure if it's the car's fault ;)) but never looks twitchy in this vid!
I think the 918's AWD was helping here. Wonder how they compare in the dry.
In the description he says that he was faster than the 918 on dry conditions.
I see that but it's hard to compare when you're just having wet and dry patches IMO.

F---ing rain, whenever I see these cars remotely together.
I don t know if you guys are watching the same video (A lot of Laferrari fans here) because on this one the 918 is way quicker. Without traffic it would have been very far away.
How was it way quicker? The car that exits out of a corner first is always going to have a gap between the car that is still midway through the corner (besides those AWD gives great grip as well) and you probably didn't see 06:19 and 07:32 where the LaFerrari could have overtaken the 918.
How long tyres can stand? How much km?
Now I am changing them for the second time and I have 4600km but using It with some powerslides....

seems to me that laferrari might be lighter faster on the straights but the Porsche is just faster on the race track.
u can see the tires performing better on both cars as they warm up

beh a tutti voi che dite che la 918 è più veloce nelle curve...... almeno sapete perchè? pista bagnata, 918 con la trazione integrale=mooolto più grip de' LaFerrari..... vorrei vedere se in condizioni migliori non le stava attacata dietro LaFerrari ;)
