Nice video! My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

I just rewatched again the video on how to know the grammatical gender of most German nouns, and I have the full list - so, the nouns that end in ei / ik / ie / heit / ität / keit / ur / schaft / enz / in / anz / ung / tion or ion are always feminine nouns in German, and almost all nouns ending in rung and most nouns ending in e are feminine as well, except for der ursprung and der löwe and der kaffee and a few others, and, the nouns that end in ling / ich / tor / ist / or / ent / ismus / ant and all the days and months and all the cardinal points are always masculine nouns, and almost all the nouns that end in er are also masculine, and, all the nouns ending in chen / ment / lein / um / zeug and all the nouns that have the same form as the infinitive form of verbs are always neutral nouns, while most nouns that end in tum and most nouns that end in ma and most metals and most nouns that start with ge and most weather elements are also neutral nouns, and, by the way, most nouns in German are feminine nouns, so, almost 50% of them are feminine nouns, and about 30% of them are masculine nouns, and only 20% of them are neutral nouns, so if one ever has to take a guess, one should probably guess it’s a feminine noun, especially if it ends in e and if it sounds like it would be a feminine noun and if it doesn’t have any of these endings, plus most plants and most animals are feminine and masculine nouns, and it’s usually based on wether the noun sounds more feminine or more masculine and on wether the plant or animal seems more like a feminine or masculine being!

I took German in high school. I was informed the language, much of nouns, at least, were cousins to English. I can see that this is mostly true. Maybe not first cousins, but distant cousins, twice removed, ja?

English is the adopted cousin, he was adopted by french and latin

So true. While there are a few words similar to English, the vast majority of German vocabulary is vastly different. The grammar and word order are also vastly different. German is a very difficult language to master. Most Germans never do.

Ja, es ist sehr nützlich, ein Nomen ohne Artikel zu lernen. Jetzt können wir alle „Bett“ ohne Kontext sagen!!! „Ich sehe Bett.“ „Du sitzt auf Bett.“
Jetzt klingt Deutsch wie Polnisch. Keine Artikel.

It would be best to have the proper definite article beside the noun. I am looking at the definite article for each word after one comes up given how I can't form sentences without having the proper word gender.
