As a retired nail tech aka " manicurist" from the 80's and 90's- I was in awe of your results, here. When I started in 1986 it was the pioneer days of the sculptured nail. I chose to specialize in ultra long squared off nails ( which were not in style, the legnth, so much back then) and did charms, hoops, foil and hand painting and had tremendous clientele. It amazes me how far this trade has progressed. You don't give yourself enough credit- gurl you could actually create free form opal stones from this technique and sell them online! Bravo Ma'dam ⭐
Same here just retired after 22 years and thinking about getting back in the game and learning new techniques especially since I’ve moved to Houston recently they need good nail techs it’s few here
Madam* or the correct (French) treme madame. But nice to hear from your point of view, and a vet in the art form appreciating a "new comer" I draw, paint and do graffiti, this channel just got recommended and it just gave me a million color combination ideas (I'm a guy who loves any form of art)

I know we’re all our own worst critics, but GIRL. You don’t even realize how insanely talented you are. I’m an artist and metalsmith and make jewelry with sterling silver and stones, of which opal is my favorite. I’m surrounded by them daily and I’ve literally never seen anyone replicate an opal this perfectly. I’m beside myself. You’re incredible and an artist like I’ve never seen. Truly can’t believe what I just watched.

They are gorgeous! I dont think you gave yourself a lot of credit, I wouldn't have thought to do a lot of thin layers, and those little fractures, just make it pop.
EXACTLY!! Opals are known to be imperfect (esp mined, natural opal),the irregular flashes of iridescent,& holographic light is what gives them such beauty!

I've tried many times to create opal nails, and they've never looked this incredible. These are so beautiful.
When I 1st started doing my own Nail 50 years ago, I was a teenager with No striping tape so I made my own with scotch tape and did alot of things like words and 3 different colors on each nail. Then years later they came out with easier ways. I feel like I was a pioneer for nail art back then cause no one ever knew about nail art then. They just plain painted your nails then. So keep on, keeping on with your style, people can learn off the Best of us and then call it their own. ❤ 💅🎨🖌

I think these turned out absolutely STUNNING. They are def the most realistic opal set I've seen. Real opal or like raw opal does have those fissures and cracks in them. You're being so hard on yourself 😕. They look so beautiful. You've got so much talent and the fact that you practice for your clients and strive for that perfection and satisfaction for the client... Girl, I would come to you if you were near me even tho I am qualified and do my own nails 😝!!!

I wanna start off by saying u are one of my favorite nails techs EVERRRRRR!!!!! And u absolutely don't give yaself enough credit. Did u realize u spent the first 2 minutes explaining that her last set had 2 stones missing and how she's so heavy handed and she should know better because she used to be a nail tech etc., etc. Now 1st off, the fact that there was only 2 stones missing in itself is impressive and for your real followers trust me we know it aint have nothin to do with your work. Out of every nail tech i follow, you are by far the most detailed and when it comes to the nail structure, u are the best of the best. I call u "The Perfectionist" lol (respectfully.) I legit LOOOOOVE when u post a new video!!! 👑💕
