Just a thought- do you have enough room to stack the drawers in the closet? Just put something between to protect the top from scratching. It was just a thought, you may not want to do that anyway. Also your wires- they have tubing to connect to your desk and the leg, to hide the wires/cords. You can also get it to run under your rug. I absolutely love your design! Your place is so cozy and it looks like it could be out of a catalog!!! ❤️

I love how you start your day with animal crossing, i dont remember what vlog it was (ive been binging your vids 💛) but you mentioned how things were stressful and that just playing an hour in the morning to relax can help you function throughout all the work you have to do that day. AND GIRL THANK YOU, ive been my worst enemy and making myself feel so guilty about doing something fun for myself before work, when i end up feeling so unmotivated and terrible at the end of the day. I am now in a long term relationship with a man who treats me like a princess and puts his all into our relationship and growth together. I can't describe enough good things about him but when I'm reminded of my past, it helps me see my growth and all the good things to come. Cord Clips! They come in clear and white ($10 on amazon). You can run the cords down the leg of your desk then run it straight to the basket/outlet. You might be able to find some cute washi tape to keep it secured to the floor without damaging the rug. Is the router/modem in the cloth basket? And thanks for sharing ACNH layouts! I'm going to have to completely redesign my island too >.

I got out of an abusive relationship, you never actually plan to be in that kind of relationship! And getting out is the hardest part!! I love being able to say that I met the man of my dreams and so kind and as stupid as it sounds but I knew the moment we locked eyes he was the one!! in my opinion you could flip the square storage thingy horizontally like the one on the right and put each in both corners that way it creates some symmetry and leave the space behing the desk open and free. if you can move the drawers to another room maybe or in the closet. If not then put it right in the middle of that wall it should bring more structure to the room! loveya
For your study I think the desk in the middle would look nice with the two IKEA cube units laying longways (so 2 units high) so they run along the back wall behind the desk. Then love the chest of drawers to the side wall or in front. This way it’s symmetrical and orderly 😊😊😊 your vlogs have been the best during quarantine

In your office, you could put both Ikea Kallax units vertically with the dresser in the middle, on the wall behind your desk. Add some cute decor pieces! The cords on your desk, tape them down on one of the table legs, then onto the floor as well so the cords are less visible.

If it fits you should have the cube shelves both parallel and next to each other, behind the desk. Then have the little draw to the side. For the cords you can get little clips or zip ties so they neatly go down the leg of the desk maybe put a little hole in the rug to run the cords under 🙂

You can tape/velcro a power strip to the bottom side of your desk and plug everything there! That way you only have one chord going to the wall. Maybe even wrap that chord to the desk legs or something to conceal it even more

You could always use a website to help plan out your office. There are many where you can input measurements of the room and then use the furniture they have (and adjust them to the size of what you have) to then see how it would work best for you.
The desk you have from ikea has a compartment that is actually made to put a outlet powerstrip in. Then you connect your computer and all the other cords to that powerstrip and only the cord of the powerstrip will show when you connect it to the wall outlet. Buy a really long one and tape it along the leg of the desk and down to the floor. Then you can put a rug on top and the cord wont show 😉
I have an Alex desk too! Feed the cord through the back of the desk where it opens 😊 put a power bar in it and then you can hide cords for the most part. All you would have is an extension cord run from below the desk

tara your video did help me! and i was in a similar situation, dated this guy for 5 years, he would always belittle me and act as if i needed him and so much more but that’s not the point, i finally got out of it in February and shortly after i found someone (wasn’t even looking) and they treat me way better than my ex did in the last 5 years!

In your office, you could put both Ikea Kallax units vertically with the dresser in the middle, on the wall behind your desk. Add some cute decor pieces! The cords on your desk, tape them down on one of the table legs, then onto the floor as well so the cords are less visible.

Just a suggestion, but you can stand your other cube shelf up to be tall and put it on the other side of your drawers, then center that behind your desk and add some art above the drawers to finish out the look 😊 that’ll give you some symmetry! Of course it’s your space so do what makes you happy!! Just wanted to give you an option!! ❤️❤️❤️

If it fits you should have the cube shelves both parallel and next to each other, behind the desk. Then have the little draw to the side. For the cords you can get little clips or zip ties so they neatly go down the leg of the desk maybe put a little hole in the rug to run the cords under 🙂
the office looks so good with the desk in the middle!! it would also look great if you put the two 8 cubby shelf things upright like the one with the grey baskets on the back wall and make your desk centered in the middle of them just not against the wall and in the middle, if that makes sense? then you could put the other dresser with 3 drawers on the wall where the horizontal 8 cubby thing is... hopefully that made sense lol. regardless looks great, just a suggestion since you said you didn’t know where to put the one dresser! 💕
Tara you should get furniture sliders!! I bought a pack from a dollar store months ago when I moved. There soooo helpful! I rearranged my bedroom on monday they helped me alot!! I also live alone so I know how a pain in the ass it is to move things...amazon sells them in bulk also 😊

You can tape/velcro a power strip to the bottom side of your desk and plug everything there! That way you only have one chord going to the wall. Maybe even wrap that chord to the desk legs or something to conceal it even more

About the desk and cords thing, you can have a desk that the cords can go into to an outlet on the floor, so the cords are hidden!

also would like to make a suggestion! see how you had the cubby verticle with the drawer next to it (near the doorway), you should mimic that on the opposite side with the cubby on the right of the desk and the drawer from the closet! then you can get a nice art work to put down the middle or a nice plant to go behind the chair! maybe its my ocd but yeah i think thatll look dope
I was in a toxic relationship! Emotionally and physically! It’s draining with someone who’s you love but it’s take a process . So don’t think it’s embarrassing because it’s hard so thanks you for sharing ! ! Not all couple are perfect 👌🏽
You could always use a website to help plan out your office. There are many where you can input measurements of the room and then use the furniture they have (and adjust them to the size of what you have) to then see how it would work best for you.

The desk you have from ikea has a compartment that is actually made to put a outlet powerstrip in. Then you connect your computer and all the other cords to that powerstrip and only the cord of the powerstrip will show when you connect it to the wall outlet. Buy a really long one and tape it along the leg of the desk and down to the floor. Then you can put a rug on top and the cord wont show 😉
I have an Alex desk too! Feed the cord through the back of the desk where it opens 😊 put a power bar in it and then you can hide cords for the most part. All you would have is an extension cord run from below the desk
