This is a night in the life of a farm hand where I live. lol
In this video I'm building a dry place for the packages to be delivered, I have a blueprint in my head however by the end it is a little different.
I had some trouble in the edit and lost the beginning of the project, that's where I built the x's we use as the supports, it's a bummer because, I showed how I did the notching to fit the bords together.
I hope y'all guys have fun :)

I think you did a great job with the mail receptacle! And it is pretty! It has history and character and it’s made by hand, not a machine! I would prefer it anytime! 👍🏼👏🏼🎄

Just curious, did she ask you for that size? I watch a channel that has an animal sanctuary and they get huge packages, they built a nice size stand out of wood that has a higher table, and they build a top covering with wood so if it rained they wouldn't get wet! They get so many things that they order, plus people send so many things for the animals because they love them! They probably could fill the back of a side by side everyday! The post office also gave them a huge tote for their porch, for packages!

Matt Great work. PLEASE drill 6 or so holes in the bottom of the barrel though at its lowest part so any snow or rain that gets inside and puddles can drain out. (have a had a few barrel post boxes in my time) Also another tip if you want to get real fancy is to get a plastic bucket or extra barrel cut offs if you have any and make a peak like a cap hat (an awning) for your barrel and rivett or screw it on the top front opening. Just another tip to make it last longer in the elements and weather. Of course its not needed but its handy.

Missed the live because I was at the gym💪💪. I get up b4 the sun rises and find it a peaceful time to reflect and be grateful for things.

@@HAPPY-CATTY I might be a bit obsessed about mine. I just had full knee replacement 8 weeks ago and was on a recumbent bike 2 days post op. Up to 10 miles on recumbent and 7 miles on mountain bike. Didn’t want my knee and leg muscles to forget their job!
