    -------------------------------
Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition and disability which causes involuntary movements called tics. I use my platforms on social media such as TikTok, CZcams and Instagram to advocate and raise awareness for the condition and show what it is like living with a disability as a teen in school.
My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about tics, tic disorders and what its like to be a teen living with Tourette's syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and a seizure disorder (NEAD/NES).
I show what its like having tics and Tourettes in class and in school and college, vlog, and I also bake, do other challenges and answer all your questions in Q and A videos.
I am also an ambulatory wheelchair user so I show what life looks like using various mobility aids and how needs change from day to day!
I am also a musician! My newest release is my first single (original song) called "She's Mine" which is now available on all streaming services - I sing and play piano, guitar, ukulele and I write, produce, mix and master all my own songs and content myself!

This video was exactly what I needed- I'm coming to the end of my first year at uni and have end of years next week, which I am very stressed for! I started getting stress/anxiety tics during my A-levels and they've returned in full force for these exams too, but I have a better idea now of how to deal with them thanks to amazing people like you who share their experience and advice.
Thank you again and good luck for your exams! You'll do awesomely :)
Also for anyone nervous about asking for help/accommodations for anything, I was also terrified, but know that everyone wants you to do your best and will be very happy to support you!

I'm so glad you managed to get help. I have a number of health problems that affect my learning and exams (not tourettes though), and when I was in high school, they care one bit that I needed help. I was told multiple times that I was making things up. My college at least had a lot more support, but now my uni haven't been great. It's disappointing that some educational facilities don't care about disabilities, unless they are extremely and visually obvious.

Just wanted to say, tip 7 made me realise when I spin round things on my finger, it isn't just autism or ADHD. I told my parents and they said when we next see my pediatrician, they will tell them about my tics (Diagnosed) possibly being Tourrette's. I was always way to scared to ask for about the past month now and I've had Tics since I was 5. My most visible one a few years ago was "wow" but about 2 months ago, I started getting more and more tics, even swearing tics, and it's been getting more frequent. Thank you for making me realise this, it's really helped!

I found this channel like 3 days ago and I am binge watching every video because I find your case very facisnating. I have been wanting to become a doctor since I was 3 but lately I have been loosing the drive to do so (Difficulty to getting into med school etc...). Your case imparticular just reignites the flame, every single time I watch a video of yours. I want to HELP people like YOU get cured or at least treated for the shitty symptoms you guys go through daily. Hopfully one day we will find a cure for these shitty symptoms. Keep these videos coming because you have no idea how much you are helping people with similar symptoms go through day by day. Stay happy and healthy :)
