- The Tyger soft roll-up tonneau cover is listed on Amazon for the Chevy Colorado, but it will also fit the Jeep Gladiator. And for the price, it's hard to beat.

This was the best installation video I've seen...I just bought a 2021 Gladiator three weeks ago and purchased a soft roll-up tonneau cover off Amazon under $200.00; the Jeep Gladiator/Mopar stock cover was $493.00 plus $115-$145 installation cost; I decided to DIY it...after viewing A LOT of installation videos, I feel confident I can install it myself after viewing THIS video...GREAT presentation/demonstration/step-by-step explanations; very encouraging voice! I'm a kindergarten/1st grade teacher and tone of voice is everything :-)
I will attempt my install on Monday...thanks, Scruf's Garage!!! Will let you know how my install goes.
Really happy to hear the video was helpful. And I really appreciate the positive feedback on the video. Thanks for watching!
Waiting on mine to be delivered. Got my Mojave a few weeks ago. I have a bakflip hard foling on my Ram. I'm trying to add some convenience without losing any access to the bed.
Congrats. I’m still very happy with mine. The ease of rolling it up quickly when I need bed space has been great.
are there any roll up tonneau covers for Gladiator that doesn't require bed/side rails other than the MOPAR one?
The MOPAR soft coveris not very good IMO. Our local dealer had two different Gladiators with the factory cover that were both full with huge sagging puddles of rain water. I don't even want to know what those retail for. We ended up going with a soft Extang. It has worked well and is super easy to remove if you just want it off for certain loads. This tyger cover looks like it will work great. Like you said, as along as it holds up materials wise I think it's a win!
Yea, I would be really disappointed if I paid the price premium for the Mopar cover and then it didn't hold up. I've only had the Tyger a few weeks, so it's far to early to assess the long term durability, but I can at least say it has done very well keep out the heavy rains we've had recently.
Any warping issues ? Lots of people saying the bed side starts to warp where the clamps go ?
Is your cover still holding up? Also, how secure/theft proof would you say it is?
It's holding up really well. I've been very happy with it. I'm going to do a follow up video on the cover, so stay tuned for that. As for security, since it is a soft cover, a thief could cut through it if they wanted. But if the tailgate is locked, you can't open the cover. So someone would have to really want to get in.
Great video 👍
It’s been almost a year, how is the cover holding up?
Thank you.
It's holding up great. Literally zero issues with it. I keep the bed covered 99% of the time, but it's nice to be able to roll it up when I need to carry a taller item. Worth noting that I get very little snow in the winter. But the summers are brutally hot. Overall, very pleased with the purchase, and especially for the price compared to the Mopar version.
What Style did you get for the 5’2” Bed, the 2005-2018 or the 2019-2020? Your Amazon link have two choices.
I got the one for the 2015-18 Colorado. 👍
@@ScrufsGarage 2005 or 2015?
@@yangli0723 the 2005-2018 version, TG-BC1C9012.
@@ScrufsGarage thanks.but can I use BC1C9052?what’s different?
How is holding up ?
So far it's holding up very well. I haven't had it that long, but I did an overlanding trip with it earlier in the month. Worked great for keeping some of the camping gear covered. Very easy to open/close. No flapping on the hwy. Keeps the rain out very well. So far, I've very pleased with it.
Nices thanks 👍🏻
FYI… still holding up great! Also of note, my Jeep is parked outside year round.
