Lyrics: When the sun goes down And leaves this unit all alone I stand up to face him Because i'm tired of this lie life When no one hears my shoes And no one sees my face I feel just like a fast fog That goes dancing past the street light When the sun goes down And leaves this unit all alone I stand up to face him Because i'm tired of his lie life Surrounded by the smells Surrounded by the sounds I feel life on my skin Like a fog that's on a street light So quietly I yell It's my time now... So quietly I yell It's my time now... It's my time now! Invisible man What I want to be The crest of a wave Escape from the sea A dot of the fog Evaporating The part of the wind That lives in the night
Man, this is some serious shit right here!! And this was done almost 40 years ago. So ahead of its time. The whole vibe of this song could be the soundtrack of our current world. Angry, digital, disjointed, and just so messed up!
I've been inspired by Front 242 and 20 years ago listened to their albums that expressed the emotion and feeling. Everything raw and unfiltered. Front 242 sounds are still unmatched, nobody can top them. However, this song rocks out and includes my emotional feeling about the world and makes me feel like I belong, gives me some peace. Never be happy with the world because it will only more and more dance to the song of productive expectation, profit, without any understanding of the human condition. We did not evolve to be perfect. Punish your machine. I've broken, smashed many mice because of my stupid online job that never ends night and day.
A masterpiece, these guys are super cool as well. I remember 10 years or so ago one of the members(forget which one) messaged my band and gave us a lot of encouragement.
first twenty seconds could be from 35 minutes in the future... devo+eminem= unites near 40 years ago... mental. could well be this dropped on radio when i was one years of age... and am having some sort of mental JizZ... never sure these dayz. but this is quite a 1337 track.
@macklemoreosis you are speaking to a guitar player. what I said was a bit tongue in cheek. Baisically I was speaking for the band, who DO consider guitars a bourgeois affectation as evidenced by the loud proclamation of "FUCK THE GUITARS" on the opening lines of the booklet in one of their compilations. These guys started out in the 70's back when there were a bunch of Spinal Tap groups running around. Before there was shitty synth music bleeding from the walls
@theinnernerd guitar? hah! these fellows eschewed any such bourgeois affectations as guitars. No, my friend. That is a Synthesizer you hear. Crazy innit? This band completely changed my view of the synthesizer
one of the most underrated songs in the history of music
Such a hidden gem
Lyrics:
When the sun goes down
And leaves this unit all alone
I stand up to face him
Because i'm tired of this lie life
When no one hears my shoes
And no one sees my face
I feel just like a fast fog
That goes dancing past the street light
When the sun goes down
And leaves this unit all alone
I stand up to face him
Because i'm tired of his lie life
Surrounded by the smells
Surrounded by the sounds
I feel life on my skin
Like a fog that's on a street light
So quietly I yell
It's my time now...
So quietly I yell
It's my time now...
It's my time now!
Invisible man
What I want to be
The crest of a wave
Escape from the sea
A dot of the fog
Evaporating
The part of the wind
That lives in the night
I have been searching for this song forever!! Many thanks for uploading!

I listen to everything from BB King to Lamb of God (but especially punk) and I've never been so...confused by a song in my life.
the part at 33 seconds....damn..fucking brutal man.
This is where The Faint got their inspiration for 'Glass Dance'.
@theinnernerd guitar? hah! these fellows eschewed any such bourgeois affectations as guitars.
No, my friend. That is a Synthesizer you hear.
