A trimendous video l thurly enjoyed it, it must've been horrendous when it was snowing though to see the depth of the snow just after the beginning of the video, but still in all a trimendous video, so many thanks for those who made this video - well done 👍.
Very beautiful mountains, both in summer and winter. In winter, there is nothing to film in bad weather, everything is white, but in good weather it is great

In Norway, there is strong control over the technical condition of trucks. They don't like old junk trucks very much. Easy to get arrested or banned.
Clips starts at the entry to first of tunnels before Roldal on road E134 coming from Haukeli. There is on CZcams a clip showing bypass of first tunnel in oposite direction (coming from Roldal). You can see here all You're loosing when traveling via tunnel.
The pass is called Dyreskar, and is between Haukeligrend and Røldal. It is the second tunnel when you come from Haueligrend and 3 tunnel when you come from Røldal. This is the mountenpass in "Ice Road Rescue" by National Geographic I was not allowed by the CZcams overloads to post maplinks. If you go the wikipedia article Old_Dyrskartunnel , you get a map-link and se 2:50 from viewed from the oldest version of the road.
Been there, done that for about a year when tunnel was renovated. Amazing views. Haukeli is fantastic in right conditions :)

Road starts at about 1000m a.s.l. highest point is at 1150m a.s.l and rejoins E134 at 1085m a.s.l. In any case very scenic road.

John, this tunnel is only closed for repair in the summer due to the weather, so what you are seeing is the beginning of summer.
I always go the old roads where it is possible still. That haukeli tunnel is almost always closed anyway 😂😂😂
