The scream with the nippers at Suzie's cuticle was a great touch in editing cameraman!
I agree. Acetone is so boring to use! I didn't know about it working better when warmed, next time I have to soak off, I'll try warming it in a bowl of warm water
I can't stop staring at your right hand. That neon pink is beautiful!
Pretty, those would be nice for a wedding!
Awesome video Suzie!❤💅
Beautiful designs
Happy wonderful Sunday afternoon it's always a joy to see you and see the beautiful content that you are bringing I would love to see you do some more squoval shaped nails. Can you show us what are the best nippers when removing large stones and gems without it popping back and hurting the eyes!!🤪🧐💇🏻♀️🤔😢 I'm glad cameraman is back. Sometimes projects like this can cause injuries I just like soaking them off
Thanks for sharing. 💖💖💖🤗
Tip from a welder's kid! If you're a nail tech concerned about you and your client's safety, try looking up standards for PPE (personal protective equipment) for welders. They often work with PVC pipe as well as metal. Shaping, grinding and drilling these materials involve flying bits of metal and plastic so goggles or protective eyewear underneath those standards should help protect your eyes against the bits of crystal, plastic and metal sent flying by the efile! You can also ask a trusted welding professional but this may involve more opinion than rigorous testing by safety departments, though I'm sure most can attest whether a product can withstand wear and tear of use. Remember: safety first and happy researching!
Very good tip!
So, I have a question for you, Suzie. Is it ok to put gel polishes on top of acrylic nails? And what are the steps you need to do in between? Besides keeping a good layer of product to protect the real nail? I see people on CZcams videos doing all kinds of stuff and mixing all kinds of products, but I need to hear from you, the professional, what is good and what is not good. Thank you Suzie and I hope you’re feeling better CameraMan. I would really appreciate an answer or you next video on this subject.❤
Suzie has tons of videos where she uses gel polish on top of acrylic. You can do a search for NCE gel polish. Hope this helps! (The short answer is yes, you can, and it’s VERY common practice nowadays).
3rd way! Use a soft gel nail and there's now special base coat that melts off leaving all your artwork on the nail so you can keep your nail art!
You can / it’s just not as reliable for long term wear
Can you explain in more detail how you would do this? I'd really love to know bc I'm a diyer for over a decade and it would be life changing to preserve my hard work ❤ I use Apres already so not sure the specific idea you're saying. Thanks :)
I think this is the soonest I've been here! Woohoo 🎉💅
P.s.... @Suzy, have you ever had someone come down with a gel allergy and still be able to have nice nails? 😒 I found out I was allergic to gel nail polish the hard way back in January. It took 2.5 months for my fingers to heal. Last week I experimented on my thumb to see if it was a fluke. I used builder gel this time. And although it took longer for my skin to react, it still did. Luckily I was anticipating it and had cortisone on the ready, so it wasn't nearly as bad. But it still turned pinkish and was super itchy. I'm so bummed, and terrified to go get acrylics at a salon. I just want pretty hands. Sigh...Any advice?
Before I started doing my own gelX nails, I would use press-ons. If you do your prep well, they stay on for up to two weeks using the Kiss pink glue. I remember getting frustrated at how stubborn some sets were to get off. I know it’s not the same but the press-ons have really stepped up their game. Highly recommend Glamermaid, they have a huge selection and reasonable prices
Sorry to hear about your allergy 💜
I only do my own nails so when it’s bling removal time I go outside with my nippers and let them fly haha
I really love your videos
Greetings i have learnt alot from your channel be blessed i can now to my gel nails at home much love from capri islands in italy❤
I also use this technique to remove the extensions😊
Yesssss I’ve asked for this video for ages 🎉
Now how to remove nails with inlay design? 👉🏻👈🏻
Oh simply file as normal - in lays are inside so filing is effective / soak in acetone works too
Those nails were SO gorgeous ❤ too bad there's not a way to remove the full nail intact and then mount them on a display stand. Suzie is the best nail technician; love all your videos so much. Blessings🌹
I could have if I applied them originally with that intent - but it’s not that type of nail - I prefer the custom build rather than press on types
@@NailCareerEducation Agree; you're right. Press ons don't stay on very well; customs are better🌹
@@NailCareerEducation would peel off base coat work? I've seen some use this to create a set they did not intend to wear but wanted to in the future.
Also, I'd absolutely love to take your classes but I live on the opposite side of Canada on a different island.
That was oddly satisfying to watch 🙀😂
I need to know what color polish is on your other hand because I’m obsessed with that color. 😍
I love your beautiful creations. However, I can't wear long nails and type so can you share some ideas to jazz up short nails that don't have much "nail estate"? And where the apex should be placed. Thanks!!!
Ferris!!!! Great movie!!!!!
Hi Susie I Love your nail videos 😃 your nail work is beautiful 😊 is it true you have to apply a NEW set of Acrylics every 6 months? And if yes why?
I love your videos!! I am a professional but I only do hair. I do my own nails I have a hard time e filling so I only soak them. I have it down lol but I do watch TV or a movie while doing my nails
Great tips..❤️🩵❣️💖💜💛
hello suzy 1 question. if i add acetone with ema monomer for the powder to dry quicker would that cause lifting ?
If I were to soak everything off, and leave a protective layer on my natural nail, won’t it be brittle or compromised? Or will the acetone just evaporate and leave the thin layer as it were pre soak ? I’m new to nails and I find it easier to leave a thin layer too
Hi Susie I have Acrylic Nails and I go every 3 weeks to get a Fill. I don’t like wearing the Same Nail Polish color for 3 weeks. Is it ok if I take it off myself and change the color? Or will that mess up my Acrylic?
I got the first comment here. And i just wanna say you're the best nail technician out there
Hey Suz! Is it normal when removing gems, that there is sticky gel underneath? Not completely uncured, but sticky and definitely not cured, since I noticed it the first time I double, even triple the cure time but it’s still the same, I’m using a gem gel, is it just crappy gel, or are they all like that?
I would like to see this with the free edge not flattened and filled with colored product, then filed. I wonder what it would look like in the end.... ❤
Can you put full cover nails on a damaged nail?
Have you tried to remove with a crimp tool or a wire cutter for memory wire, the crimp tool isn't sharp but shape like a round tip...I think it would crush them...
What did you use to attach the pearls?
Suzies Glass Nails
Takes me forever to get gel nail polish off my natural nails via the cotton ball and acetone method. Would an efile be better/quicker, anyone?
Yes, most certainly but the bigger gems you you kinda have to peel them off before you started attacking it with an e-file
Is it difficult to wear 3D nails? Do they catch on everything?
Depend on what yr doing
On clothes no it doesn’t
On hair it will
😮
Number first
👀👀
The ugly side of doing nails is removing glitter nail polish!
Suzie, I try to grow my natural nails long but, when they get a little length, it feels like the extra length is making the nail separate from the nail bed, from the tip of my finger downwards. I already have tiny nail beds [I was a nail biiter for years] so I end up cutting my nails short to prevent permanent damage. Is this just in my head or have you seen this happen to others?
If you can email at hello@nailcareer.com
Let’s see if we can answer this in detail
Please recall this convo in email
This is why I don’t like to offer soak offs. What am I gonna do? Stare at my clients while we both wait? No thank you.
😂yup it can be awkward
That's alot of work lmao 🤣
Yes but gotta get it off
@@NailCareerEducation I would love get my nails done but can't afford it on widow ss they r beautiful
Why can’t you just soak it off, lol I said that to soon you answered my question later in the video
why dont you wear your wedding rings
I lost them 😩
That pink shimmer!
