yeah that's a good idea we christians gotta stop following the catholic doctrines worshipping God on Sunday cuz it is for the Satan, we gotta worship God all day every day and we should keep the sabbath which is Saturday, it is mandatory for God because it is the day of the Lord , and jesus say if you love me we should keep his commandment. so we gotta keep all the commandment so we can be the true sons of God the father and the son of our Lord jesus christ
samuel togun Actually it seems like worshipping God on Sunday is a Protestant doctrine. While Chapels are open every day and many host Mass every day, many Protestant churches are only open on Sunday for services. Catholicism also has many daily prayers and optional rosaries among other things. So I think personally that the doctrine of only Sunday worship is Protestant and not Catholic
hey brother, we gotta worship LORD jesus christ everyday but the sabbath day is the only day of all that LORD sanctified and hallowed, it is a day of holy convocation according to Leviticus 23:3. so we gotta pay a special attention on it cuz GOD blessed and sanctified and hallowed and rested on it. Jesus said if you love me obey my commandment
Sabbath is on Saturday. Sunday law will come one day which will be mark of the beast.
yeah you right the sabbath also determine which GOD we worship which is the GOD of the bible(GOD the Father and LORD jesus christ ). it is a sign between almighty God and his sons through our LORD jesus christ

If you don't know what Jesus commanded his followers to do, you can't obey Him very easily.

This story is always tear jerking to me. I I know it's all meant to happen but how could people make such a heartbreaking , terrible mistake. And all those who did believe had to witness. Regardless of the resurrection. 😭
@@BladesDark They were so hung up in following there own rules, best shows with the Pharisees and other Teachers of the Law, that they missed the true nature of not only his message, but who was entirely. While not in the exact same way, we humans still make the same mistakes now, even believers. Luckily, those who are wise enough realize the error in their ways and repent and learn from those mistakes as best as we humanly can to continue living in him.
This video not just made me interested in reading the whole bible but made me realize that you are doing such a great job by explaining these chapters so that people 'BELIEVE' I'm so happy! Thank You!

Great presence of gospel
Great videos! I have used them for my high school classes. I have to include, however, that in John 17 (the high priestly prayer) the MAIN emphasis is unity amongst the followers of Jesus. "That all may be one" (Jn. 17:21). That is a huge point that we cannot overlook!
Well, 'One' in Jesus, not 'one' as in unity of organization. It is in the pursuit of 'unity' that nearly all organizations of man ultimately become corrupt and fall apart. The Pharisees were seeking unity, Pilate was seeking a more unified civilization, as was every cult leader and the bad man with the mustache. Unity of a group is not the goal, being unified in the common pursuit of the teachings of Christ is the goal.
At least, that's how it read to me.
I always thought that John the Baptist wrote the book of JOHN

Your commentaries are usually incredibly good...However, I've noticed in some of your videos, you praise the writers when they are only recording what happened.

It was NOT brilliant of John to merely write that the soldiers fell backward, because he was only describing what he saw.
You believe the historical narratives recorded in the Bible, don't you?

@@FRN2013 it doesn't have to be fiction for the work to require creativity, or display genius. John's gospel brings out different details than the synoptics, right? And even they mention different specifics than each other. A gospel writer simply can't record everything Jesus did (Jn 21:25), so the choice of what to include and what not to, weaving together a cohesive narrative that clearly gets across a *piece* of Jesus' intent is what's ingenious here.

Thank you so much for your videos! I love watching these video b4 each book I study but for some reason I think I missed this part 2. I have been reading each book differently this round by reading about 12 chapters of the same book for 1-2 weeks every day. And I kept seeing where the soldiers fall back the first time Jesus say I am, and I couldn't figure out why. I prayed for understanding and once again The Bible Project came through! The LORD has blessed all believers and soon to be believers by your ministry. Thank you for broadening my understanding of his Word. ❤💖❤

wow im a kid and I love these videos there amazing and interesting I just finished the book of John and when I finished it I was amazing but hearing this made me even more amazing I would recommend this for any one its a great story its kinda like a true fantasy if that makes sense any way its prob the best way u can learn about god and his greatness

Even though I do not believe in god I find these videos nice to watch and educating. To me these gospels are more like a fiction book with a meaning to it. It is really nice to see these videos and it soothes me.

This is a really good breakdown of this gospel. Hardly anyone ever gets to see the whole picture because preachers always only focus on one or two verses.
