    Welcome to Colombia
The Sabana Train, is the group of railways that are located in the Sabana of Bogotá. It provided rail transport services since 1889 between the populations of the Bogotá metropolitan area and was liquidated in 1991 together with the National Railways of Colombia.
Since 1992, the northern railway line was enabled to function as a tourist train under the administration of the Colombian Railroad Company (Ferrovías de Colombia) and later under the company Turistren S.A. The current tourist route goes from the Sabana Station, passing through Usaquén, La Caro, Jaime Duque Park (Briceño), Cajicá to Zipaquirá, it also includes different recreational events during the tour of the Bogotá Sabana. In Zipaquirá some train cars are used as a cafeteria for tourists.

I’ll visit colombia for a month in March.
I’m planning on birding bogota for a couple of days and walk around then go to santa Marta, stop at Medellín, then the pacific valle del Cauca, then visit upiales then go to Mitú.
Do you think it can be done in a month ?
I’m planning to take road transport instead of flights whenever possible except to mitu.
I definitely don’t wanna rush myself to the point of not enjoy it.
Also do you think 3k US would be enough for a couple ?
