I bought a CZ G2000 on Gunbroker for 400$. 30$ ship and 20$ FFL so 450$. Made by CZ Guns Trade (not the CZ we all know). Some independent company in the Czech Republic who had access to a state-of-the-art polymer molding machine in the early 2000s. They made this G2000 as a police duty pistol but lost in police trials to the CZ P01 in like 2005 or something. They're hammer fired and de-cocker only. I have seen them with a manual safety tho. I didn't even know they imported them into the US. I bought it purely as a novelty because I saw it in Hitman Contracts on Playstation 2 a millions years ago but damn is it soft shooting! Probably owning to its fullsize form factor but man I have no regrets whatsoever. This is a very pleasant gun to operate. I can rapidly shoot targets with ease. Internally they look just like a Beretta 92 but w/ the trigger bar completely enclosed. The sights are.. Were 3-dot but the dots literally fell out so just 3 empty holes. Plus they're actually Novak Lo-Mount sights but smaller. The width on the rear sight and the front sights are identical to Novak's so aiming is like any gun equipped with those. This gun had no feeding issues with this nasty, old Rem. UMC that was starting to corrode. Like the brass was chipping off. Rusty bad ammo..
That is an odd comment for this video, but I found 1 G2000 on gunbroker for $550, and it is a crazy looking gun. I'd love to get my hands on one sometime.

Wow! I'm no KelTec fanboy...my P3AT required a break-in, ~100 rounds, and fluff & buff to become 100% reliable. It's a throwdown gun in my truck. I'm just the opposite -- tired of spending big bucks on name guns and being disappointed. So I'm leaning back toward budget models these days. You just have to differentiate between cheap in price and cheap in quality. This Keltec appears to be the latter (too bad, I was wanting one) but the dirt cheap Tisas PX9 Gen3 I recently bought would be a bargain at twice the price...

@@maguslascivious4980 Yeah. They seem to have gotten much better about it over the last 5 years or so. Maybe with their new facility opening that will happen.
I'm glad it was reliable for you, but sadly the P11 was also well known for frequent parts breakages. In this case it appears to be early production hiccups.
The trigger needs to be pulled before disasembly as you stated in your first video. It seems the correct positioning of the recoil spring could be problematic and obviously will take practice. Nit a fan of that. Does the positions of the safety option screw have detents? I hope so at that would insure the user has it in the correct position. Maybe you needed to move the screw a little bit further to stop striker issue. Lastly it ys a very light gun and requires a locked wrist. Your wtist flip under recoil can cause issues in and of itself. I hope to see more ftom you on this pistol. Thanks

Well? Following the instructions on assembly and disassembly as well as the instructional video are always recommended. Just because you used to doing something on another firearm does not mean it applies to all. The adjustability of the rear sighting? Elevation is fine. The playing around with deactivating safeties? From a design issue they're trying to make everyone happy. Provide a tactile external safety, while giving a option to those who wish to do without. Could it be a break-in issue? Maybe? Could it be an early production problem? Maybe? It would be nice for you to forward your findings to Kel-Tec and see what they have to say.
