Its good to hear pertinent information and owner experience with towing with an EV.
Thats certainty a big caravan to tow 🫣, not for rhe feint hearted. But what a lovely caravan to own & enjoy when you arrive at your destination.
Its nice to see some diversification away from the usual Tesla/EV videos👍

Charging facilities with drive thru long bays specifically for towing vehicles already exist in the UK. Most newly built charging specific facilities being built are including them at a ratio of about 1 drive thru to 8 normal bays.
I tow an 1800kg 8ft wide twin axle with an EV (XC40 Recharge Twin) and get about 100 miles range. We have just replaced our PHEV we used for longer tours with another EV (Fisker Ocean Extreme) that will tow it 200 miles per charge!
I’m really looking forward to 2026 when cars with solid state batteries and 300+ miles of towing capacity with 10 mins of recharge time will hit the market. At this point the experience will be the same as ICE towing but with only the EV benefits.

I get about 120 miles max towing out of my i4. Max range non-towing is 300+. So I lose about 2/3 of my range. I always do 60 on the motorway and dual carriageway. I don't like sitting with the trucks at all.

If and when we buy an Electric Van for a Conversion I’m expecting the same at around 125-140 range but I feel that very adequate when you are at Leisure and can hook up on a 3 pin at most Sites if you plan it correctly. 👍🏻
