A lot of old timers will tell you that you have to "Thump" a watermelon to determine if it's ripe. Guess what? That's just an ole wives tale. Everyone hears a "thump" different, everyone "thumps" different. Heck, even the same person never thumps the same! But these tips here will help you pick a ripe watermelon every time.
