Line edits and revisions can become endless, if you're not careful. There's always SOMETHING that can be changed, tweaked, improved... You reach a point where you just need to stop and release the thing.
I love you geeking out over the phone case. Minho with one of his kitties is adorable. The idea that we have to abandon any hobbies/interests that aren't "mature enough" once we reach a certain age can go the way of the dinosaurs. If it makes you happy, love and enjoy it.
As a woman who's 38... Being into manga/anime/kpop/visual kei is generally frowned on. Too bad.
What you said about not being able to take time off the way normal people take time off... I feel that 😆 I realized yesterday when I felt super stressed that I'm always on the clock. If I'm not sitting in the office writing, doing admin work, or creating something then I'm uploading TikTok videos or marketing/connecting with readers and authors online while watching episodes of The Office with my family. It's never ending.
Yeah feel you on not being able to take time off 😅 But I also think the stray kids stuff is fun for you and there's no harm! ❤

I just love the excitement that you have for K-pop and K-dramas! It really is an innocent/harmless thing to be involved it, and honestly it reminds me of my *Nsync/Backstreet Boys days - I too had posters over EVERY free inch of my bedroom walls and ceiling (yep, on the ceiling haha). I still have my original CDs as well for both groups - I'll always be a fan haha.
I totally understand the whole "is it a verb, adverb, what's a verb" conversation too - it happens to me every time I write and I ask myself if I'm being too descriptive. When I was teaching college English a few years back, adverbs were the part of speech that always tripped my students up and honestly, I cringed everytime that lesson showed up in the curriculum lol. So happy to see you doing well my friend!

Words ending in ly are generally (maybe always, I’d have to double check) adverbs.
An adverb is a word that describes a verb
I just never can remember, but I did know what an adverb is-just not that smile was a verb LOL
@@AuthorSarahSutton I understand that it is confusing when you have to think about it. And when was the last time you had to label the parts of a sentence? Only in school. So unless you are a teacher give yourself grace and use the app to help you make things sound right in your writing. Leave it to your final proofreader or editor to make sure it is right. You are a wonderful young writer that writes stories that even a 62 year old lady enjoys and is excited to read. Looking forward to it when this book is finished.
