hell yeah thank you for the video
Great game man 🙏 o, Achra!
Nah this game looks fucking crazy lmaooo. Love your videos big bro.
This game has an absurd number of "Hold wait key and win" builds
There’s also a game called Spellmason’s that’s an even more unhinged version of this and it’s slightly easier on the eyes if you don’t like the way this game looks. It’s basically Path of Achra with an aiming mechanic.
Thanks for the recommendation! It does look way more intuitive than Path of Achra for sure!
I saw the noita video. It was good enough that i figured i'd see what you've been up to since. I saw that you made a video about Achra. While i personally don't like Achra and it's lack of emphasis on tactical turn-based game, it could be a lot worse. I'll follow your channel. Consider checking out Rift Wizard for more spell-based craze. I also have about 5k hours worth of roguelike experience and i consider Rift Wizard to be the pinnacle of the genre.
My biggest gripe with rift wizard is the sfx are rough on the ears and the game can be so slow sometimes
@@loafofbread9400 you can speed up the game
@@NinthSettler have you played the second game? i think the game feels more frustrating then fun, the winning combinations feel so fixed sometimes, its like half way through the game just screens your build and once you pass that point all thinking disppears, i do suspect it i notice this alot more cause of my dislike towards speed and sfx tho
@@NinthSettler pretty much my experience is like 95% of my builds dont work and the 5% that does feel super unfun to play and unsatisfying to win with
@@loafofbread9400 i have plenty of wins in RW2 in my channel
this game slaps, i left a review at like 8 hours saying basically 'pretty neat' and then proceeded to play over 100 more. for something without a lot of moment to moment tactics i found it surprisingly compelling, especially because it gets more difficult the more you win. my craziest build was probably the goblin bheith nocht of eris that was hitting for over 1 million.
maybe check out rift wizard or rw2 if you like this, it was a big inspiration for path of achra. similar concept of grab a bunch of stuff to get a crazy off the walls build, but there's usually a lot more decision in combat than achra has.
great video!
I passed this game by when i saw it but you sold me on this game
Played so much of the demo by the time I got the full game everything was unlocked. lol I sat through like 10 minutes of unlock notification pop ups.
It's a gem though. Enjoying it.
I had to subscribe, very good video. Editing effort definitely noticed!
Siku / Ascetic / Apoophis
14 Levels of frost Pulse + other mono Ice
Star staff main hand / Starter off hand
Love your videos man, keep it up!
Have you played Caves of Qud?
The game also known as CoQ?
->"Over 100k damage"
-> Me, with my goblin peltast of Eris who literally only has aim and agility and does 2 million plus damage when he's feeling basic.
-> mfw
Great game, you should play it.
Looks like it's worth a try!
Have you tried Caves of Qud?
I guess it's best described as a traditional rogue like rpg sandbox with a lot of interactive systems that give a lot of freedom to the players.
I think it would be right up your alley and I'd love to see you do a video on it.
I've heard of it but haven't tried it yet! It's been sitting on my wishlist for some time, but I may pick it up for a review soon!
@@Tonesville it got a nice UI/graphics overhaul recently post 1.0, so now's as good a time as ever to get into it
Gonna get it

Whats the game at 0:54, asking for a friend :)
Rogue-like means permadeath and random generation. As much as Rogue fans want it to be otherwise, the genre has evolved past the game that it has been named after.
"Traditional rogue-likes" is the word you're looking for (as you later alluded to). Traditional roguelikes bear more resemblance to Rogue.
Rogue-lites are roguelikes except that there is a progression system that persists even past character death.
@@NoneNullAnd0 calling slay the spire and Isaac the same genre just because they're both roguelike-inspired is crazy. Roguelikes, true ones, share core fundamentals of gameplay beyond permadeath and random generation, that roguelike-inspired games do not. As much as neophytes would like to distort the term.
Your arms are still too skinny, lift weights brother.
Could be unflattering angel, i find alot of skinny fellas hiding serious strength
