smoke grenades are so good, you can spam them inside UFO's and choke everyone inside out

Shields are bad now, they disintegrate after a couple of hits. It used to be they worked as armor on top of armor and lasted much longer. With some healing they lasted entire mission.

At 2:05 actually, aside from help soldier recover faster, it also increase survival chance in the battlefield from 10 to 25%, and later upgrade to 40% here which is very useful if you want your soldier to survive after reach 0 health
