Harvesting swamp cabbage

I had the pleasure to interview my Uncle Carl, who was a wealth of knowledge in being self-sufficient and knowing how to live off the land. In this video, Carl Hunter demonstrates his way of harvesting swamp cabbage. Sadly, Carl went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2019. I feel blessed that we were able to record Carl during this time, not knowing it would be one of the last times we would see him.

One thing I loved about Carl was his humor. He could be talking about something and sometimes you couldn't tell if he was being serious, or pulling your leg, then he'd just look at you and chuckle, lol. Loved that man.
