Missed Dufan even it's queue so long that time around an hour for every ride, last time been there around 15 years ago before i move to other province, thanks for the video reminded me of my childhood :)

It was empty because of pandemic. In a normal day it's quite packed even we should queue for a ride in around 30 min to 1 hour. The good thing is now you don't have to queue.

As I remember there is a bus in the park, you just ride the bus it's a facilitate in Ancol
Well actually before pandemic, Ancol and dufan are prety crowded.

In normally you have to wait till 1 hours maybe for one game

So much memories 😭, i was there as a kid, my uncle, grandpa, and grandma were still alive ... By watching this video i notice Dufan doesnt change much since the 80-90s, except for a few new rides, hopefully the environment, the music, the props wont change much in the future. Istana boneka especially time seems to stop at the 80-90s era in there.
I hope it goes back to normal too, it really is a great place for building memories :)

Never bored to go there. My favorite ride is Ontang-Anting(the giant swing), Happy Feet Simulator, Perang Bintang(another level of shoot game, better go with more friends) and Rango-Rango(the crooked house). But the one and only thing i couldn’t miss is the carousel ride at night. All the lights will switch on and make the ride more beautiful and enjoyable.

Guys..you can go to dufan by transjakarta busway. It's very cheap, only Rp.3500/person and the shelter is in front of your apartment.
The shelter in Ancol is very close to dufan's gate

You should try sate, nasi padang (rendang, gulai ayam/otak), warteg (many choices food there), seafood (212 wirosableng in north jakarta), nasi goreng kambing kebon sirih, warkop (indomie/bubur kacang ijo). Those are highly recomended 👍🏻

It's much easier to go to Dufan by Transjakarta route number 5D (PGC-Ancol). You'll get off from the bus right in Ancol's ticket booth and after 5 mins walk you'll arrive at Dufan's ticket booth. Unfortunately the route was still closed due to covid

Just fyi if you don't know yet. The whole Java Island and Bali are being semi lockdown from 3-20 July 21. All malls are closed, you're just allowed to takeaway foods from restaurants.

this is so sad. when I was a little kid, I came to Dufan maybe three times. so much fun. people are everywhere. and still, that theme song playing nonstop around the park. But now, same song same place, but the place turns really quiet :(

If you are going to Pasundan Area such as Bandung City, try to Braga and Lembang streets. And for typical food, Karedok, Nasi Tutug Oncom and others.
