- Welcome back!
Today we do a quick lesson with Harley Davidson bottom ends and what I look for when inspecting one. We cover i wide range of topics like pinion shaft runout, sticky rods, as well as how to take apart a bottom end for repair.
Thanks for watching! DM for any questions you have about the video. Also future videos will be taken in landscape since I'll be transitioning to youtube!
One of the best video neighbor
This is the BEST HOW TO VIDEO I've ever seen.. You didn't yapp my f'n ear off about a bunch a BS You didn't talk like I'm a 5yr old. Thanks Cam I'm subscribing Me!
In all honesty it great to see a video actually showing this and explaining how to do it and how it’s supposed to work
Hey thanks dude I appreciate you 🤘🏼 thank you for coming this way to support! It means a lot
Your videos are great!!! Hardest part of riding Harley’s is learning how to work on them and your videos are very clear and to the point. Haven’t seen much like yours here on the youtubes 🤘🏼 keep killing it!!!💪🏼💪🏼
Keep making content man! Not enough of this kinda stuff out there. The TC dynas are awesome and a very simple and enjoyable platform to work on. Gotta keep these old bikes on the road, pisses the MoCo off!! I pop into my local Harley dealer every now and then for parts and it’s funny cause all the sales guys every time I go in are like “you Dyna guys are impossible to get off those things and on a new bike.”
Great Video. This is gold to someone who has a mechanical background but maybe little to no experience with Harley Big Twins. Quick and Easy tutorial. Building a 88 to 95 for 02 FXDL. See how it goes 😂
Nobody makes it easier to understand than this guy 🔥
Hey thanks dude! I appreciate you 🔥
need more of this
This is dope. Keep doing this.

very interesting with clear explanation, you should explain how an oil pump works, I want to know more about how and what exactly, I saw you on Instagram and immediately started following you
Very helpful, think I wanna do mine in winter. 100,000 miles by me on my 07 rkc.
Great easy to understand video brother keep them coming I just did my cam on my 2011 FLHX was pretty straightforward I did buy the feuling runout tool runout was at .004 I felt pretty lucky with that number lol.
I’m here for this type of content!!
Love the content..hoping to see more.
I’m not a professional king of baggers racer but I ride my bike everyday like I am 😂
With that being said, your videos are very helpful and informative. Helps people get a better understanding of their bikes and parts. Keep it coming! 🤘🏽
Hell yeah dude! That’s exactly what I’m looking to do!

Hell yeah dude! Tell Brett I said hi if you have him 🤣🤘🏼 tell him I opened up my shop
I graduated from mmi in Orlando Florida last year.
@@Gnarlys_GarageAh I’m in Orlando we have a woman teaching, she’s awesome. Aye I’m looking for a job pretty soon if you start looking for help👀
awesome content dude seriously no one else showing all this and explaining it in rider terms. not full blown mechanic terms. something we can understand hahah
That’s what it’s all about! I’ll make these for hopefully years to come. The level of teaching will gradually increase throughout the years
This is killer information, but all it solidifies to me is that I have no business breaking into the bottom end of any engine. 🤣
👊🏼🍻
Hey thanks guys I appreciate it! 🤘🏼
Awesome!!! Thank you man!
No problem my man thank you for the support!
@@Gnarlys_Garage the community has to support the real ones and you are it my guy!
I appreciate the time effort and info in here. May I suggest real camera so it can fill up the screen and really see it? Thanks
Good stuff. New viewer to your channel and already subscribed. I'm looking forward to how to stuff. I have been to intidatd to rip into a bike.
Just subbed
Awesome video, please do more of these. You’re like a younger version of pacific Mike. And he’s like a Harley version of Bob Ross.
BILL NYE OF THE HOG WORLD 😂🔥
Haha I love that nick name 🤣 people are going to think my name is bill hahahah
I couldn't believe the runout that harley says is acceptable in crankshaft. .012" is beyond bad.
Do you have a video doing the M8 cases? Is it pretty much the same with bearings?
Video on replacing cam chain tensioner?
Absolutely!
Holy crap that dudes so handsome
The name of the crank rebuilder , i cant hear the name clearly enough, whats the name?
The answer to this question, of course, is cellulite......and lots of it.
🤣🤣🤣
How many miles are on this bike?
20k
What to look for? Something that isn't an M-8.
You shouldn't even have to look in a newer HD bottom!!!
Stoped watching When I seen the run out on the shaft
You'd think that by 120 years they'd make a bulletproof flywheel assembly? Garbage
Hey Kenneth! Harley Davidson designs bikes around stock components and Moderate riding. Stuff happens when we add all these aftermarket components and ride them harder than intended. I stopped blaming Harley for shortfalls. I’m grateful for them and the motorcycle they designed. We’re just going To Make them that much better!
@@Gnarlys_Garage yep, I've destroyed 2 lower ends on stock motors and lunched a twin cam 88 after 30k miles when the tensioner let go. I'm a glutton for punishment
Awesome video! Thanks
