My current 156 SW Veloce is very rare. It's in Azzurro Gabbiano blue with a 2.0 JTS engine. In SW variant in that colour, according AROC, there's only 2 left in the UK. The other is in Ireland, mine is the only one left on mainland UK. Faster than a 2.0 TS but not as saucy as a 3.2. I currently own a Alfa GT 3.2, which is an animal. Great fun.
Lovely Alfa and another proof that if you take proper care of them - as the previous owner did - they will last a long long time. Great video guys! Cheers!
I'm sat here drooling over that car. I had a 2010 159 ti sportwagon for nearly 5 years and it was the most smiles per mile car that I have ever owned. I can only imagine how much better the 156 is.
For me 156 SW GTA Is better because looks awsome and the structure is stiffer, more practical and weighs the same as the sedan. Good job maybe some day my will be looks good as your 😜💪👍👏💯❤
It’s the car that can do everything: from moving a fridge to driving on track to doing the daily commute. I’ve had mine for over 9 years now and still marvel at how practical it is for such a sporty car. Recently I helped my sister move house. Folding the rear seats was like 2 seconds and then the boxes neatly fit into the space like it was made for it! What’s also genius yet no so obvious: the boot door extends into the roof, so you have a big, accessible opening, makes for easy packing. Really like how you restored this example. A downside of a 156 (especially the GTA) can be big maintenance bills, but looks like you sorted that for the near future, so the new owner must be a happy man (or woman)!
Awesome car. I think it looks better than the saloon version and i think it looks better than a GTV. I would like to own one in the near future. For now I an happy with my red 156 2.5 V6 24v. Again a great video, big fan of the channel and looking forward to the next one
The 156 is a cool car! I had a 156 2.4 jtd Turismo in blue… absolutely loved that car and out of all the cars I have owned that’s the one my kids remember the most. It seemed quick at the time and the engine sounded good for diesel!
147 gta looks more aggressive but the 156 gta has a nicer interior. I know you like a wizard but I think there over rated I had one one my 147 gta n couldn’t wait to take it off but that’s just me. Your SW does look awesome 🖤
As a 147 owner I can't say the Sportwagon looks better but it is the coolest estate bar none. I was going to say 150k, however it's a beaut at 180. I'm sure you could get the gearknob refurbed and it would probably look much better than any used one.
How odd, I saw a black GTA sportswagon parked in south London a few days ago, I had a slow drive by, i forgot about them. I'll leave a note on the window next time i pass it
I've only owned Sportwagons of the 156s, not the GTA. Always preferred estate version even though the 156 is a pretty model regardless of what version it is. My current SW owned for 7 years and covered 120k.
I wish I had the brain ,knowledge ,money and talent ,to be a worthy owner of a such Gem of a car .I was struck with the Alfa Romeo virus before 20 and hasn’t recovered since but forced to be an inactive because of the lack of above mentioned
Someone’s put the wrong springs on the back of that! They look like the sedan springs. The part numbers are very close if I remember, an easy mistake when ordering but only comes to light when fitted.
The smile on their faces when Busso starts to sing, priceless!

Haha i ty też tu nie widziałem że ich oglądasz pozdro😂😜💪
@@5t4w3k No jasne że ich oglądam, dobre mordki od włoski aut, jak tego nie oglądać, pozdro 😂
It warms my heart seeing that fine service history. That’s passion for a car and that’s what an Alfa does to you! ❤ Bellissimo 👌🏻
Couldn't agree more!

The car looks soo good now, good job. I would love to own one of those remaining wagons some day.
That is one sweet wagon. I’d absolutely love that car
You and me both!

There is a video of a Bosnian car enthusiast showing an Alfa 147 with over 600,000 km on it, still running perfectly
Top geeza’s enjoying the busso 👍

Class. What a beautiful car.
It really is!
You've done a lovely job of restoring the car - well done. For me, it should be cosmetically original but each to his own.
I know what the mileage is because I nearly bought it but you beat me to it 😂
I had it in my watch list. Quite a few cars from my watchlist eventually appear on this channel. I never have the balls to pull the trigger. 😂

Its a handsome looking car, especially in black
Respect to the previous owner for keeping it well-maintained. It looks amazing, well done on the refurb
Thank you very much!

Sport wagon is best looking, wish car manufacturers still offered sport wagon with a manual transmission
The cameraman seems to have occasionally forgotten that this is about the car and not the guy talking.

Fast estates are the only way to go 😊
Perfect spec
Great car! Just get rid of the spacers at the back it looks like a 6year old decided where the wheels should go.
What a fantastic job The car looks gorgeous well done boys 👍
Thanks 👍

Great looking car the 1.9 jtd I use to have wish I kept it not sure about a sofa in the back or fridge😊

They are such nice cars, 156 is the best handling fwd car Alfa ever made, and the gta versions are really nice. Bloody expensive though.
Had an 02 JTD 20v Sportwagon.... a continent eater!
Someone’s put the wrong springs on the back of that! They look like the sedan springs. The part numbers are very close if I remember, an easy mistake when ordering but only comes to light when fitted.
I have a 156 gta saloon with a spoiler so I'd have to say that looks the best😂
Looks great! I'd say it's got about 180k
159 SW!! btw 147 and 156 have week front wish bones
True art! Did you buy the black grille or did you paint / coat the existing one? Would love it on my black 156 TI.
We did that in house. Rubbed it down
@@autosportivobedford cool, thanks!
GTA has more power than a gtv by about 30 bhp as well as the extra torque 😁
👍
100% the worst decision of my life selling mine 😢
150k
Perfect no
Very good yes
Terrible bad taste, put the original Alfa Romeo badges!😡😡😡😡😡
The scudeto looks horrible.
