Not many teams are fortunate to have an owner that has been with the team this long, and is so willing to adapt, be open minded, and be aware of whats best for the franchise overall. This really hurt watching this after the loss of a Mother and watching Lurie get emotional I felt that. I’m so proud he’s the owner of the team I became a fan of as a little girl because this was the team I was raised up loving and my mom’s favorite team. This team is the best 😔🥺❤️🩹
What a special moment. I was trimming out a house in 2006, when all the sudden Trot and his wife walked in the house with their 2 kids, one was a few months old. I remember it was the day after the eagles held LT to under 10 yards rushing and about 20-25 receiving. It was a ridiculous performance by the D. Anyway they came to look at the home to possibly buy it, so I didn’t want to bother them. so I just said congrats and how amazing the D played, to hold one of the best ever to basically nothing. It’s crazy that one little boy is now an Eagle following in his fathers footsteps

I'm in tears!! Remember back to 1995 in East Texas and the first time I covered Trotter Sr. as a true freshman at SFA (Go Lumberjacks). Dude just stood-out and popped on the field and was so good he left a Division I-AA program as a junior coming off a season ending ACL tear and got drafted in the 2nd round. I became an Eagles fan then (we had just lost the Houston Oilers, my childhood team) and I'm so glad to see the Eagles draft Jr.
