    0:59 + 4:35 58449 ... "mit Lautsprecher" = with speaker
without speaker edit: and with no utilities for sound would be 59649 - LokPilot 5 DCC/MM/SX/M4, 21MTC MKL

Quite a muddle in the Heljan locos and having to break the PCB tracks like that. I see that the rear White and Red lights loom is made of what seems to be an effective use of Dupont connectors. Though a bit bulky you got it to fit inside the gubbins of the loco shell, well done folks.

Soldering first the extremity of the wire near to the plug would have made the entire job WAY easier, cleaner and better.

I always enjoy your videos. Being "electrically impaired" as I am, I'm still trying to figure out how the white wire on the board that had been severed twice can support a lead coming off the resulting "marooned" section. That explains how you are the person doing this, and I'm not. Great videos - each and every time. [long term subscriber]

Purple to Aux 2 -> "marooned" section" -> R-Taillights socket (on the other side of the board)

the solder connections you made to the dcc decoder pins are very poor. if you are going to do how to videos please learn how to make a good solder connection.

Hi Richard, Its quite hard soldering stuff down onto surface mount boards. I am always amazed how Pete manages to miss the adjacent pins. I'm not sure the quality of our soldering is any worse than some of the manufacturers results. Could I ask you have a go and post a video to show us how to get it better. That would be greatly appreciated and we could all learn from an expert.
