Oh my, I do LOVE your potting shed and every single thing in it! In my little shed, I have hinges on the tops of my windows. I just push out the window and prop it open with a stick to welcome the breeze! I think I'm going to have to go clean mine up now! LOL It tends to get messy quickly! I enjoyed this visit so very much, Jeri! Thank you!
Unfortunately the windows were framed in without the possibility of opening them. I wasn't thinking ahead.

The dirt under your finger nails is known as the gardeners French manicure 😁. This has truly inspired me. As much as I love gardening, I’m really cuckoo about all of the garden paraphernalia; seed packets, antique tools, old boxes, etc. etc. You’ve really hit a nerve. I came inside from my very hot garden to take a break and was so pleased to see your new video up. I had been watching some of your older videos earlier this morning, before I went out, and noticing first one thing and then another, I was wondering if things had changed, and then your new video answered my thoughts! I love the changes you made to your shed! I can hardly wait until I have a shed of my own. And you are always so beautifully organized. Right now my things are scattered all over the place. I am inspired! You are my favorite gardening muse. I have the woodpecker knocker!! I bought a couple of them decades ago from a gentleman who handmade them. I'm inspired to do better at saving seeds. It's been a challenge to grow anything this year but I have some verbena bonariensis seed, some sunflowers, and hopefully more before it gets cold. I've been buying seed to put in my wildflower meadow in a couple months. I love your collected artworks too. I have a collection of graphic ephemera, mostly crate labels or bottle labels, but some vintage calendars, notecards and some vintage seed packet graphics too, which I could use in a shed, whenever I get one. I'm already looking forward to watching you work with potpourri. I love it too. I haven't made any in a few years. Maybe if I get some roses to bloom this fall I can collect some petals to save. There is a company called Petals From the Past (you probably know them) in Alabama, and of course Antique Rose Emporium here in Texas, who might be able to identify your wild rose over your pergola. I think, if I remember correctly, in a past video you said it was a wild one you found in the woods. Wouldn't it be great to find out it was a really old variety originally brought there by some pioneer many, many years ago. Loved seeing your kitty too. I have 9 cats at the moment, down from maybe 18 at one point (some pets, some feral/barn cats), and 3 dogs. Aren't we truly blessed to have such wonderful animals in our lives. I just look at it and every corner is one I would like to have. Every book, every plant or flower, every idea would fill my corner just like this. It’s perfect. Ahhh!

One of my fav outdoorsy vlogs of yours was when you and your husband build that "potting sink" outside... I've also watched that whole process of you stenciling the floors in that room... aww... so many beautiful, beautiful vintage items that let your creativity wander around ❤😍
It's such a great potting sink, I use it constantly when working in the potager.
I am 64 but I sure would love to come to your house and "play " in your shed. I'm making some tintures but would love to see how you extract oil and make pretty thing's together. you are my favorite creative person and we share the same birthday month. ☺
I've not made any tinctures, I just like to put together things that smell and look nice.

Oh my Jeri do you know what a calming peaceful video you put out every time? Well you are my medicine when I get anxious about not being able to move or like now in pain waiting for the nurse your video filled with beautiful flowers of all color's the sound of geese walking past the always present cry of the fancy peacock and your soft calming voice just fill my heart and mind with peace. I no longer feel pain my legs no longer hurt I am no longer in a nursing home I am in your garden lost amount the plants feeling the warm sun on my hurting bones. I binge watching your video's even ones I have seen because they work magic on my mood and I no longer feel trapped. Thank you is too simple to say to someone who brings such peaceful joy to my life ❤️

Revisting this video today--muted since my working from home hubby was on a business call--I noticed your woodpecker knocker. I have a couple of those!! Decades ago, here in TX, I was walking in my neighborhood, going door to door collecting donations for the ACS. An old retired man lived in one house, and he made these knockers in his spare time. I had never seen one like it before and thought it was so cute! I asked if he ever sold them and he said no, but that if I was interested he would to me. He sold me 2 of them for $1 each; that's all he would take. My own little pieces of folk art directly from the artist. I love them!
Yeah, I love that knocker! I bought it from an artisan many years ago while exhibiting at an art show in Pennsylvania./ It's been at least 30 years back...
I love potpourri. It was my favorite type of shop to visit as a child on our weekend outings.

What a wonderful tour. Every time you show us something I feel like I’ve gone to a dreamland 💐. I looked everywhere for hollyhocks here in El Paso. No one had them this year. My Mother told me that my Grandmother always had them in her garden. I’ve been trying to get flowers for my garden but the dry heat is so hard on all the plant. I’m not in to cactus so that’s not happening. Thank you for showing us ~ Janet 🥰
I've only ever found Hollyhocks through seeds. The seed companies online have them all the time.. Try Outside Pride.

I'm revisiting this video this morning because I will be working in turning my old chicken coop/shed into my potting shed. I moved my girls (🐔❤) into a much better coop so I will get their old one 😅.
When I saw the kitty poised by the window, I thought, now Jeri’s done it….she’s taxidermied her dearly departed kitty! But then I knew that couldn’t be true, because this kitty was not adorned in a carefully crafted outfit from vintage fabric and other bits.

HAHAHA! Oh my gosh, that is so funny! I promise not to taxidermy my kitty...although we DID taxidermy one of the Peacocks when he passed away.

I have been working on my detached sunroom which isn't a true sunroom but has windows on 3 sides. It has been neglected for several years as we moved my husband's folks in with us durning their decline and their belongings, my mothers' things from her passing earlier this year and just being the catch all for all those items I don't know what to do with yet.
I came in for a little rest from all the sorting and watched your sweet video of your potting shed which was just lovely and relaxing and gave me several ideas for sprucing up my sunroom/potting room! My mother had a beautiful seed box display that I have always loved and , thanks to you, I know just what I am going to do with it now!

Have always wanted to have a money plant but just can't seem to get one to grow here.
A seed swap would be fun, maybe we can do that sometime. It's funny that I planted a full packet of money plants in the small basket garden and ONLY ONE came up this year. But from that one plant I got quite a few seeds. Your sunroom could have great possibilities.
