    Hey cat daddy, as a crane operator of nearly 25 years and a current CCO instructor at a crane school, I enjoyed this video. Overall it was very informative. I plan to let my students know about your channel so they can get more information. However there where a few things you said that I either disagreed with or I just do differently. That said, I appreciate the effort you put into this video. It's definitely going to help some people.

    Use front wheel steer if you want 3rd gear on the road. Will not leave 2nd gear in all-wheel steer.

    You never turn the key. Only time is when the crane locks you out for safety and you need to to get back within chart

  • @southboundoft
    @southboundoft Před 4 měsíci

    You don't have to hit that switch to keep scoping. You can do it with the pedal the whole time. When you max out heavy boom you just hit that button.

    @raulrocha1410 Před 6 měsíci +1

    What if you don’t need the main boom. Doesn’t it run all the sections out same time at the length you want ? Or do you need to hold that button down to run all sections either way

    • @badboycranes361
      @badboycranes361  Před 5 měsíci

      There 2 modes if you put it on B mode then the main section comes out and you would have to press the button for the rest of the sections. So choose the other mode and you won’t have to press the button

  • @joezloza4971
    @joezloza4971 Před rokem +1

    What boom angle do you level these rt cranes. Does it matter when jib is erected. In some rts. It just states a level ground on other rt brands

    • @badboycranes361
      @badboycranes361  Před 11 měsíci

      It’s safe to be at least between 30 to 40 degree angle and scoped in with no cab tilt to make sure you have maximum level

    Would this be the same setup for the 50t RT tadanos?

    • @badboycranes361
      @badboycranes361  Před rokem +2

      Yessir only thing different you might not need to scope out sections with the button

    • @edhardyshon
      @edhardyshon Před 5 měsíci

      Okay that makes sense because I have operated 35ton and 50ton tadano and I was saying I never had to use that green button. I thought I was tripping. Thank you

    • @travisandrews6857
      @travisandrews6857 Před 4 měsíci

      90% of jobs will have the old tadanos because it’s cheaper if you get a new one lmi is touch screen and very simple still nothing changes from the steps given
