- I came to South Africa to shoot a bunch of POV clips for my DJI collaboration. The colours were some of the most glorious I'd ever captured. Enjoy this little compilation of a few sessions.

I love your content. It’s always so calming
Thank you!!
Great to see you here in Cape Town I started surfing a year ago your content helped me grow into the surfer I am today! If you’re still in Cape Town would be awesome to catch you in the water dude!
Love that!! I’m back in Australia now though!
That looked fun, always better with friends too.
Dam looks cold 🥶 and 🔥.

Probably the only frw places that have had any waves in the last two months. Honestly the worst Spring/Summer I can recall in 30+ years. Glad you got out there.

Yeah it’s my signature mid length and this version is a twin :)
How cold is it despite the green water and blue sky? Here in England it's cold and no real surf for weeks!
30 degrees outdoor and 9-10 degrees inside haha
It's about the same, 12-14C, because despite being warmer there is a current from Antarctica (the Benguela current iirc) which brings the icy water up. Although that current goes up the West coast, so the East side it quickly gets warmer (a few hundred miles along the coast). Even False Bay, the huge bay to the South of Cape Town, is a bit warmer because it's shielded by Cape point. (However the waves are usually weaker there for the same reason. Most Cape Town swell comes from the West.)
There is usually a surfable wave 1 out of 3 days on average in Cape Town.
@@greatbriton8425 thanks for explaining 👍
@@KalesBroccoli thanks and at least the suns shining!
The water reminds me of esperance
Welcome to the hood. How do you like our wind -and water temp?! Looks like you grabbed a few though.
Lekka!
Bru 🤙🏽
Are you gonna come surf in mosselbay there are some cooking spots here on a good day🏄♂️🌊
Back
Home already!
Hello what is the temperature of air and water
30 degrees on land and about 9-10 degrees in the water 🥶
WHERE ARE THESE SPOTS?
Currently at raglan not as good as that
The best way to find where this is, is to get out there and explore
Love this sentiment
FR !!! Lets explore !!... "proceeds to open google maps"
I was litterly there on that exact spot like 2 days ago.Awsome content.Love from Durban-SA💪🏻
WHERES THE SPOT PLS LET ME KNOW
@@boonza6301 its at noordhoek
@@boonza6301 it like right by chapmans peak
What’s the water temp?
It was around 10 I think!
Isn’t the water relatively warm?
Nop
where is this in south africa?
Cape Town 😊
@@antonfalk8000 It's not a secret spot, why be coy? It's usually crowded on a good day. If he ever goes to Cape Town he's going to get there anyway. All you're going to do is make him take longer to get his surf. Be a friend and let him know.
Llandudno and Noordhoek. They're obvious from the road. But be careful. Llandudno can be very heavy when it's big (a friend came within 2 inches of drowning there at 12' once), and likewise there's a massive northerly current at Noordhoek when it's big, which fluctuates in its speed from nothing to faster than you can paddle, and it takes you into shark-infested waters with a boulder-ridden shore.
@@greatbriton8425 thank you sir, much appreciated! Will check it out
Welcome to Cape Town - you will find surf conditions from around March to September much much better, so you have to come back 😊
I grew up in CT and now live near St. Andrews, Scotland. Didn't know how spoilt I really was.and am....
Beautiful place
I spent 10 years in Cape Town. Agree! Except I did know how spoiled I was lol.
im going to SA sunday. where is this
Clifton beach… that’s where this is definitely not anywhere else😅
It's not a secret spot, and may very well be much more crowded when you get there, if there is a swell. It's Llandudno, Cape Town. The water is FREEZING. Let your surf buddies who are there guide you to the best spot, if you have any there, as choosing spots in/near Cape Town can be complex to find the best one on the day. Or if no surf buddies, reply to me any time with the city, the current conditions and your skill level and I'll try to recommend one for you.

From 4:00 it's a little further south, where the road turns inland, in the corner of of the very long beach whose name I can't recall now. Kommetjie/Long beach are at the other end of the long beach. Edit: I remember now, the second spot is called Noordhoek. Good luck and have fun!
How cold is it?!! You all in thick hooded wetsuits
9-10 degrees in the water
Did you experience the brain freeze
Ooyes
Please don’t blow the spots now
Too late every guy with a go pro / dslr feels the need to post the same waves / swell as a thousand other blokes.
This is ridiculous. Everyone in Cape Town knows these spots, and every tourist surfer who drives around by himself is gonna see them.
