I show how the Hover Camera X1 drone works under manual control. www.GetHover.com www.indiegogo.com www.insta360.com www.poly.com/us/en/products/headsets/voyager
The fatal drawback of manual mode is that there is no takeoff button. The concept is to control it after pressing the main button and then hovering. If you crash or land in an inaccessible area due to an unexpected error, you have to take off again in manual mode, but this is impossible because there is no takeoff button in the menu.
Hi thanks for the video. How far does it take, while controlling it manually, before the wifi connection is lost between the drone and the phone? Would the app warn you about getting too far or you just know, obviously , when you no longer (unfortunately ) have control over it?
@il_Presepe Thanks for the question. you have approximately 50-70 feet before the drone looses signal. it is designed mostly for selfie type photos and videos. plus there is no collision avoidance. if the drone looses signal it will just stop and hover until you return and signal is re-established.
@@GottaRide_On Thank you for your prompt response and for providing information that helped me understand how the drone would react after losing connection. I genuinely appreciate it.
@@HighlandFace94 If you have android it is in the play store, apple is in apple store. Search for Hoverair X1. very easy to install. recommend you have the drone powered up first.
I just bought myself one. Can I ask what would happen if the drone gone beyond the allowed distance/height? I watched other CZcams videos, a few users said that if the drone is at maximum distance, it gets disconnected from the phone and we can't control it to come back to where we are. May need to go recover it, and it doesn't take command from the phone to land etc... If that's true, it's very scary.
Sorry about the delayed response. The drone will stop and hover in place until the signal is recovered. Two things must happen. (1) You must get closer to the drone location until the signal is recovered. then you should be able to bring the drone back to you for landing. (2) If no signal is available, the drone will stay in the area it stopped at and attempt to land OR until the battery drains and it will just fall.
Drone and one battery. Recommend to buy two or three batteries with dual charger. Takes about 1 hour per battery and lasts 10 minutes of flight time. Use any USB charger or laptop will work just fine.
It operates about the same as other drones that are controlled through the phone app. Just slide the icon. The more you slide the faster it goes. This hoverx1 is not built for speed.
You have to make sure that you perform all the preprogramed modes before manual mode will be activated. It will show up on the main hover window. At the bottom. Also there is a option in the Modes menu that will unlock after you have completed the preprogramed mode selections.
The wifi is to connect your video to your phone. it has nothing to do with your Home Wifi unless you are doing an update. Your phone is connected to Hover Via Wifi (no internet available during flight) once you stop and download your photos or video to you phone you can then access the internet or 5g service to send your media to youtube , etc. The Hoover drone connects via blue tooth and Wifi in order to fly and send data back and forth to you phone app. If you choose not to use the app then you can fly the drone with the buttons pre-programed missions.
@@BlueGlimpser It's really not that bad. Got one last weekend, playing around with it by the beach, was able to fly right past people who didn't even notice it above the sound of the waves. I have a Mavic Air 2 which even with custom props is much louder.
I fly mine in Manual Mode exclusively indoors in my room because I fell prey to a crippling stroke jst under two years ago. I love the little guy!!! 😀
Well done. You answered a couple of questions I had and were not answered via other reviews.
Thanks 👍. I have been running this tool for awhile now and very happy with what I can use it for.
Answered important question for me , couldn't find elsewhere !
JB, some video clips are better than others. 👍🏼Yours is great. Good job, partner
What a cute little drone. I may just have to get me one for my CZcams videos. Thanks 4 sharing. Cheers!😎😎

Good morning,
Can you make a video with maximum height and 360 degree rotation?
15 meters in any direction. Does not have obstacle avoidance so be careful where you fly.

Ordered that thing a MONTH ago, and it has never come. Trying to get my money back.
Have you still not got it - looks like its from China - in my experience it can take a while
It took me a month to get. Now if you order. Thru the website it ships next day.
Flight time?
10 minutes per battery
Worry about the Noisy..!
