Today we are reviewing the DC Multiverse classic looking Wonder Woman "Who is Wonder Woman?" action figure from McFarlane Toys. #dcmultiverse #actionfigurereview
Yeah, Todd McFarlane; female figures don’t sell even though this one is sold out and back-ordered everywhere. This from the guy who thinks it’s still “cool” to include trading cards as an “accessory” with each of the figures. Somebody tell Todd it’s not the 90s anymore.
He definitely needs to stop with these trading cards and NFTs. WW needed a better lasso and probably an alternate head to justify that price. He’s on the right track with this WW figure though.
For now, she looks like a holy grail type figure as a lot of my local retailers have yet to see her arrive and Amazon and other online retailers just have her listed as not available or sold out. As a WW fanatic, I look forward to getting her sometime sooner or later. Great video!
I am kind of glad that they waited to give a classic design. It meant that they got to iron out a lot of the early line kinks by the time they got to her, and this figure is all the better for it.
Man, Diana Prince look so gorgeous with those nice curves, weapons and looking classic, I wished she wasn't a stupid ass Collector Edition, Hopefully Todd can do a regular re release but in stores, Very great review Brad.
I truly ❤ Wonder Woman! Todd McFarlane really Out done himself with that Stunning Figure! Very Interesting and Informative! I'd enjoyed the Video! Thanks for Sharing! 🤩🤩🦸♀️👍👍
good job I think you put out more videos this year than you did in the last 6 months, keep it up!:) also your gingers showing:) I didn't even realize your hands were in the shot half the time because you got the lights washing everything out so much, go back to a reviewing area that's got color so there's actually contrast! congrats on actually getting your wonder woman, us that ordered on Amazon keep getting our ship dates moved up and back and up and back and up and back again and again... same with mullet superman!
The head sculpt seems fine to me. It wouldn’t make me want to buy the figure if I wasn’t interested in it otherwise, but I’m still looking forward to receiving mine.
I have this on order (pre-order in the UK!). It looks great, though I expect that the sword, axe and shield will need a bit of a dark wash to bring out the detail.
I feel like a lot of the excitement over this fig comes from people waiting so long to get something close to a "classic" version. Objectively, it's a solid fig with some mediocre/questionable choices. Face sculpt: passable but nowhere near the incredible box art. Knees: meh. White line at the ankles: meh. The "shoe" part of the boots: WTH?! They look like water shoes you wear to the beach or those socks with tread on them and so thin in the forefoot area (when viewed from the side) that it almost doesn’t look like a human foot, certainly not the bottom part of an actual boot on a human foot.
Hey Brad, I have that Wonder Woman classic DC Multiverse McFarlane Toys action figure too! And I wish she could have high heels because I like female superheroes with high heels on, and also what kind of Superman do you have there behind The Flash? 10:39 let me know, thank you.
Well, those knee joints are straight up awful and considering how Diana does some leaning/crouching poses when striking or doing a warrior stance, it is not good looking at all. Maybe I’ll try to get at a discount, but wow… that character deserved better. It doesn’t help that you can see the letters on the joints which I find unacceptable on “flesh” tones.
I can’t find this figure anywhere. I usually do not buy the Mcfarlane female figures because they are way too tall. I wished there were several sizes for the buck so they are more accurate.
Of you look at tge Lynda Carter season 2 and 3 costume ger Eagle had the red in between It was supposed to look oike an eagle with its wings spread flying
9.5/10 rating for this Amazon??? Seems a bit high for the DCU Geek's experience but idk maybe in the realm of what if "only" McFarlane Toys existed since most of their previous WW issues have mostly been disappointing & this one's at least decent imo. Scale is blown by McFarlane since she's too tall (snb taller than other McFarlane Classic Superman or Batman figs) & legs seem too long in proportion to body related thereto & body is too buff otherwise for WW imo. No midriff articulation for a Trinity DC member, WTH???. Her "Bracelets of Submission" (or Gauntlets as you refer) appear to have zero sculpting detail on them so those could be better. The accessories don't seem to warrant Collector edition price since WW doesn't need an axe & the lasso (of disappointment imo) has no bendy wire so try wrapping & keeping it on her waist holder😤. NECA doesn't seem to have any problem w/bendy wire accessories being included in certain Ultimate (comparable type) edition releases. Here's a thought McFarlane Toys, how bout a cloth stars & stripes cape accessory since it's WW & Collectors Edition? She gets no more than a 7/10 by me for the reasons previously mentioned. Enjoyed the detail review though so thanks much for the post.
❤ All those points of articulation, including the butterfly joints, are overkill on the figure. Yes, it's an "action" figure. But in this case, less is more. Did not like it. 😢
Wish that head sculpt was better. She looks magnificent and muscular overall. On certain angles, the head sculpt looks good but on some angles ehh not so much. That jawline and lips are terrible
This is a specific WW design based of off the Teddy Dodson version of the costume. Note the emblem which doesn't resemble Lynda's, the odd boots that have points at the front and back, the double pointed tiara. Regarding the bracelets, Lynda's were only gold for the last two seasons, while the first season had the more accurate Silver.
Marvel Legends Power Princess is a much better Wonder Woman imo, though it's all black and gold. The head sculpt and paint is tons better than this one, which I was majorly bummed about because the pictures from SDCC made me think this one would look amazing. I guess the pictures of their projection screen must've either been slightly blurry, letting my imagination fill in the gaps, or McF just doesn't invest enough in the translation from 3D render to the final sculpt and paint compared to ML for some of their figures. ML Power Princess and Retro Scarlet Witch are prime examples of how to do a comic style face imo. Power Princess is also bigger than the average ML, only slightly shorter than female McFarlanes (I checked with my Knightfall Catwoman and 3J Batgirl), so posing her with just my Superman and Batman, on top of a folded up bit of tissue paper under each foot, she looks pretty good with them (though if you prefer your WW to be the same height as Batman and Superman, she's not that. Her eyes are up to Batman's chin). She'd probably look out of place next to female McF's though, unless you give her a boost by standing on something.
@@gmjr30 Personally, I like it more if I'm ignoring any scaling issues like what I want to pose them with. Not a fan of WW's huge joint gaps. PP has knee guards which hide them, but I understand the WW was going for a specific look. I think others have been able to make that work without huge gaping cuts though.
@Koryn_99 I'm a toy photographer, so I'm looking forward to WW more than PP because she's so plain except the head. That is the only thing special about her.
GREAT FIGURE. Great Review. 1 Complaint that I have: why the giant blocky, chunky knee joints?? They did Poison Ivy’s knees so nice and smooth with a nice low profile. The Super Woman buck is a step backwards. Oh well, she looks fantastic otherwise! 🔴🟡🔵💥👊😎

I'm glad you managed to obtain the classic Wonder Woman. Been looking for her for a while, the local toy reps have no idea she exists.
I am kind of glad that they waited to give a classic design. It meant that they got to iron out a lot of the early line kinks by the time they got to her, and this figure is all the better for it.
Target has been back ordering my first second pre order several times now. Fully expecting it to get canceled

lovely figure, I hope SOMEDAY it comes back in stock. I really loved that Shazam custom you got there too!
I still feel like the headsculpt is lacking.
Paint is lacking. Head sculpt looks meh af. Wash is crap.
That Shazam figure have the Action Comics 1 Superman head on it? Grea review as always Brad!
Awesome 😎 figure of classic Wonder Woman but she probably hard to get and expensive
That's a great looking WW figure
3:40 That right there is probably a big reason why Todd probably didn’t want to make female figures.
Thanks for doing the full toso manipulation. Nobody has done the full hula hoop range. I wasn't sure she do anything but turn and bend back.
great to see you back
Awesome figure. Glad I preordered. I’ll paint the white on the ankle. Love the extra hands.
Actually if you cut a little bit of the peg and glue it together you Will have the white lines together without paint!
@@JBTMR Thank you 🙏 for the suggestion but I’m going to paint it and not cut it.
@@missboozehound alright!
Great video as always I bet you’re great to have a beer with! You’re awesome dude.

Normies to Fan buying this figure: Oh you're buying dolls now too.
He’s back!!
Fascinating
Screw 'em for making it a limited item. Going for $100 secondary. It's a huge middle finger to fans.
I like the red lines on the chest gold.
I hope the do all the classic Dc
Gorgeous figure !

Overall nice figure. But this Mcfarlane ball joints at the ankles are hideous. He does have a better ankle design he uses right?
I am glad McFarlane finally made a regular Wonder Woman.
So wait… I may have missed it, but, that classic Captain Marvel… I assume custom but who’s that looks good. Is there a vid on that?
Her face looks like Rhythm Nation era Janet Jackson.
I'm in Canada and cannot find this figure anywhere. Where did you get your figure?
How did you make that green arrow btw nice review
Still haven't got your hands on Firestorm? Didn't see him in your JLA ...

Hi Brad did you get the Mafex Poison Ivy?
I'll go with the power princess instead
Still love the classic, not much on the modern one
Now this is what we call McFarlane toys
Wow that face!!😱 Pass, but I was looking through your library an Im shocked you don't have a review of Firestorm?!?🤔🤷♂️

Hope to get her to go with Knightfall Batman
That bicep cut is a bizarre choice. She's a little short for my taste. I like my WW taller than Bruce and Clark

She goes to Tela's Gym, and is her lifting partner...

Brad, the brightness on this video is a bit much.

The only issue is that she seems a bit pasty. It would be ok if they’d had given her some shading throughout the thighs and arms
le queda la cabeza de la mezco?
Yep, I bought 4… i need 2 more

I got the last one for $7.50, so I'm not complaining.
Why are the bracelets not gold?
U mean the gold rim? They’re always silver
@@FictionFan99 Lynda Carter’s were gold
@@kevinschmith9379 this is based on comics. Mainly 2000s wonder woman

The face is ugly but the rest is dope
Without a decent comparison of wonder women, I have to give the pooptube review a overall very mediocre fartworthy 😛
