In every viral fever platelet count will fall. If patient is asymptomatic we need not worry even upto 20,000. But needs hospitalisation for observation. All counts shown are more than one lakh. It is not alarming.
I am not against this but my advice is donot rely only on this. If platelets are falling continually, needs evaluation and appropriate management.
There are so many causes for fall in platelet count apart from Dengue and treatment depends upon cause of fall in platelet count. So donot relay only on this remedy.
