I made a jodah stop hitting yourself deck on moxfield. It runs orvar, kwark, sakashima, feather, and zada. The goal is to make large amounts of jodah the unifier. It could use some tweaks to make it faster. Gt anothermom on moxfield.
Pontus, did you consider targeting hullbreaker horror itself to bounce it to hand with one of the triggers? Wasn't sure if you would have been able to re play it.
Yeah both that and not just bouncing the reb was just bad calls on my part, i was planning on being cute and rebuying my own counterspells but i realized to late that it didnt work

Can someone link me an explanation of how BMC interacts with Marneus, i thought it would give 1 draw of both tokens.
Emmmm. Some how it counts at to seperat effekts. I know that it dose but I don't know the rule that say this by name. So sorry.
BMC creates the tokens sequentially, similar to how a modal spell like Kolaghan's Command works. Even though priority isn't passed while the ability is resolving, the game still recognizes them as seperate instances. So Marneus triggers multiple times.
This is different from spells and abilities that create multiple tokens as a single effect, like Raise the Alarm.
Let me see if I can find some relevant rulings for you.
Edit: This is the closest ruling I can find for sequentially resolving spells and abilities. Strangely, the CR entry on modal spells doesn't go into it, only the section on resolving spells and abilities does.
*608.2c The controller of the spell or ability follows its instructions in the order written.*
And here's the one for multiple triggers from a single event:
*603.2c An ability triggers only once each time its trigger event occurs. However, it can trigger repeatedly if one event contains multiple occurrences.*

6:20 you could have gone for the wheel, using 1 mana and both counter spells (you are gone lose those when it resolves regardless, so why not use it)
No he could not do that. He had also casted manamorphos. So he needed to pay 3. He could not do that with is 1 mana and 1 counterspell.

That windfall seemed so shit. Haven't seen what happens after just yet, but that is so goddamn risky. You're wheeling away a perfectly functional hand with thrasios activations available, second largest hand and 3 pieces of interaction and a fucking tutor. What more are you wheeling for??? You're just refilling Pontus who had a low mull.

Black Market Connections actually doesn't trigger Marneus twice. Marneus Reads "when 1 or more tokens enter the battlefield", so even though 2 different types of tokens are entering the battlefield they are entering at the same time, creating only 1 trigger
I believe it does because they are created sequentially, not at the same time
They are created sequentially, so Marneus triggers multiple times. I commented somewhere else on this video with some relevant rulings.

I hate to be this guy, but I don't believe you can redirect REB to Swat because there is no other valid target i.e. mode of counter target blue spell
Swat redirected fierce to protect REB or am i misunderstanding?
That is not what happened. Death redirects Fierce Guardianship to Deflecting Swat to save his REB from being countered.

That interaction with showing and whatever was all so wrong tbh. Initial target sucked ass, but showing your hand and then making him change target after having already told a target is a little bit odd to see. very strange game overall I'll be honest.
1 I seen Kodama win form nowhere, 2 We live for the strange the crazy the not typical :D is what makes it interesting :D
I think it's fine. cEDH exists in this strange place where it's both competitive and multiplayer, and hidden information/sharing information is a part of that environment.
Here's how I see it: rather than forcing everyone to preface every spell with "I am planning to cast targeting , does anyone want to talk about that?" we can just speed up the game by casting the spell and having that conversation (which is pretty rare anyway) with it on the stack (as long as no other game actions have been taken, of course).
