I don't get it. My dad said "keep your feet off the seat" and my sister and I knew he meant it. Now, children rule the parents. My dad's car was kept clean, and the rugs were the only place that got mud on them. Parents, you can tell your child no, and when they don't listen, follow through with discipline.
YES make sure it's not too harsh but these days raising your voice one tone is considered too much, no too much is hiding them harshly and calling them terrible names

Pro tip: Whenever your child is crying in the car, it's probably because of poor ventilation. So the best thing to do is Take a rope, wrap it around the child's waist and tie it to the tail end of the car and swing the car in the corners...and soon your child will stop crying...
I have used this trick for so long now....never failed to be effective
