- In this video I’m going to show you how to make and decorate a 6” Taro (yam) chiffon cake. We are going to make the taro paste too!
(**NOTE** There's a typo in the video when whipping the egg whites. The video stated 3 egg whites but it's actually just TWO egg whites. Sorry about that.)

Ingredients 材料:
1) Taro paste (芋泥):
• 250g Taro ( 250克 芋头)
• 30g Sugar ( 30克 糖)
• 10g Soften Butter (10克 软化奶油)
• 100g Milk (100克 牛奶)
2) Egg yolk batter 蛋黄糊:
• 2 egg yolks (2个蛋黄)
• 30g Cake flour (30克 低筋面粉)
• 5g Sweet potato powder (5克 紫薯粉)
• 45g Milk (45克 牛奶)
• 28g Veg. Oil (28克 植物油)
3) Meringue 蛋白霜:
• 2 egg whites | 2个蛋白
• 35g Sugar (35克 糖)
• 1/2 tsp Cream of tartar or lemon juice | 1/2茶匙 塔塔粉或柠檬汁

Because I want to have almost the same amount of taro paste and cake in this one ☺more taro root flavor since I'm calling it a taro cake 🤣
