41 Indian Airports Get Hoax Bomb Threats | ISH News

Over the last 24 hours, more than 50 hospitals in Mumbai and 41 airports across the country have been hit by bomb threats, causing widespread panic. The threats were sent through emails using a virtual private network (VPN), making it difficult to trace the sender.
Hospitals like Jaslok, Raheja, Seven Hills, Kohinoor, KEM, JJ, and St George in Mumbai received these threatening emails. The police are currently investigating to find out who is responsible and what their motives are.
The BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) headquarters also got a threatening email claiming that the building would be blown up. The police thoroughly checked the building but found nothing suspicious.
Airports in cities such as Chennai, Patna, Nagpur, Jaipur, Vadodara, Coimbatore, and Jabalpur were among those targeted. The emails, sent from the address [e-mail], had almost the same message: "Hello, explosives have been hidden in the airport. The bombs will explode soon. You all will die." An online group called "KNR" is suspected to be behind these threats.
All affected airports quickly implemented emergency plans and conducted thorough checks. No explosives were found, and the emails were deemed hoaxes. Authorities tried to ensure minimal disruption for passengers.
This is not the first time such threats have been made. On Monday, Delhi airport received a similar email threat about a bomb on a Dubai-bound flight, which also turned out to be a false alarm. Similar hoax emails were sent to various airports in April.
Indian cybersecurity agencies are actively working to trace the origin of these emails, which are believed to have been sent from abroad. Authorities are taking these threats seriously and are continuing their investigations to ensure public safety.
