A fairly busy level crossing located just outside of Coventry City Centre at the edge of the Coundon area of the city. This is another one of those level crossings which sits at an elevated location with an underbridge located right next to it (just like at Manningtree and the now-closed Ely level crossings as examples). This instance is different though, as the road that went under the bridge closed permanently within the last few years (as of filming and uploading), and it is now a permanent dedicated cycle road: the Coundon Cycleway. It's two-way, completely segregated from the main road, and runs for 1 and three quarter miles from the inner ring road into the suburbs via this under-bridge. As for the level crossing itself, the equipment dates back to around 2009. There is only marked footway on one side of the busy road here, and so both of the alarms are found on this side of the road, opposite each other. They are incredibly quiet for such a busy urban area, and they also sound pretty standard. One of these also has a fairly new sounder.
The same train is seen twice in this video both before and after stopping and turning around in Coventry Station. It was continually running back and forth between Coventry and Nuneaton on the day of filming, providing the line with an hourly service in each direction.
    Thanks for watching!
