This great NIGERIANS have contributed greatly to Africa music and cultural values. May GOD rewards them mighty. They came to this world at the right time.
Alhaji Kollington Ayinla today May 12, 2023 I acknowledge your good work in Nigeria music industry and for your good, evergreen and brilliant fuji music for ọmọ Yorùbá nílé loko. You continue to live longer baba kébe nKwara .
Based on my opinion, It's due to so much effort, dedication, and high level of lyrical research that they inject to their work then. due to hyper competition among musicians in the 70's
Kebe n Kwara has always stood distinct right form the 70s. His genre of fuji stands out and had gone through many social, group and individual bashings. But like it or not...Ayinla is different Ayinde was unique...now KWAM1 is adding to the flavour with another sensation. Great Yoruba musicians.
Society evolves and so do the artist response to it. The best of artist are those who are able to strategically respond to the changing demands and still remain relevant. The world had moved to a faster tempo since the early 90s and you could see that from his output then. At a point Barrister was losing followership bcos he refused to evolve until he made the song that "toba sepe saje lo láyé, eje kajo máa ko..." He too had to respond otherwise the new breeds would drive them out. Apart from that with age comes some change in vocals. We can't have it so sweet forever but one thing is clear, Killington's transition and voice is forever unique to him. No one like him.
I grew up listen to this music, one of my dad tenants was a die hard fan of Alatika song,he always played kollington records and grew up liken his music. Thanks for the internet,I stilli listens to baba music everyday especially on my long drive to work here in canada here. This particularl one is my favorite snd the series of megastar, ropopo, arewa, ijo yoyo and co
I am listening to Ayinla kollington and it seems he is as good as his late friend Mr Ayinde Barrister (RIP). Both are superb and I am enjoy this Fuji music in 2019. What a talent and great Yoruba musician.
Baba highly gifted and very intelligent great Nigeria musician at all time. We wish you long life in good health and peace of mind. May Almighty Allah bless you more baba alatika. The General himself always happy to hear you kebe Kwara
Haji Kollington Ayinla is certainly the best Fuji Muscian ever. God bless him abundantly. No Fuji Muscian come close to Haji Kollington in terms of talent and fast tempo

Great work from the General, my father's favourite and got to like him through my dad. And have always been falling for his songs. I love him with his distinctive style and voice which no other one has in fuji world. Please Oju Opon is needed and Mr Foolish.
Anything from 80s to 90s we have only 5legends in Nigeria...Kebe Kwara, Ayinde Barrister, King Sunny Ade, EBENEZER Obey and Fela Anikulapo Kuti...u must belong to one of dem....but my favourite was Kebe Kwara and Ayinde Barrister....
Incredible knowledge, Incredible music , in my views the best Yoruba musician ever. Please do not sleep on him and his drummers . I introduce the music to my white friends and they just cannot believe the drums , the flow, the knowledge, wisdom . I wish I can make some documentary on him for Netflix.
Please guys, how can I get in touch with Professor General Alhaji Ayinla Kollington? My mother will be celebrating her 80th birthday this December back in Nigeria and Alhaji Ayinla has always being my mom's preference and that of myself and my siblings. Please, leave your feedback here. Thanks!
Enu won lofa, enu won leje, enu ti won fi pe adegun na fi npade ogun...
Who is with me 2020
I can never get tired of listening to this voice forever. That composition and transition to the next line is always unique.
I can't stop listening to this album as it connects me to some good old days. May my dad's and a former co-worker souls continue to rest in peace.
Can we still have fuji music passing messages across to humanity like this again
This great NIGERIANS have contributed greatly to Africa music and cultural values.

Clear, sonorous, free flowing music. What a genius he is!
He is simply gifted as well as his late friend, the Baala of Lagos.
