I'm 34 now and remember as a child hearing Fuji music at parties and in my dad's car. It was all the same to me but I remember my dad going on about Kollington this Kollington that like he was someone to be worshipped. I miss those days. Thank God for CZcams and thank God I'm a Yoruba man.
I miss those days. The last time I listened to this music was in 1991. God bless you CZcams, EgbaAlake etc
All these old records of alhaji kollington ayinla make me remember when I was staying in ilupeju palm grove , every party that time was till down oo aaaah we will dance with swet like we want to collect salary nioo......smile
General Kollington Ayinla has always been my choice among the Fuji musicians any day, anytime and anywhere. May you live long Sir
Me too
This is one of the best yoruba music in those days when music was reasonable and meaningful unlike nowadays where d new generation musicians sings rubbish and meaningless songs.Respect to the musicians of those days...,
This is nice it really bring back the old days of mine i was dating a girl then we had a party organized by my brother , i could remembered how the girl danced very well and my brother said where i got the girl from. Kollington for life
If it wasn't for me going to Mushin I would've never heard this great man. Yoruba people we are the best
Thank you general, baba alatika.i enjoyed this music with my dad, an Ibo man. Thank you sir for all the good times.
Kudos to General Kollington for this great album. This is pure and natural Fuji music we all cherished.
Good work. This is quite evergreen. Unfortunately, many people take special delights in discrediting the contribution of this man to the fuji genre
They try to discredit him out of ignorance and hypocrisy. He is Fuji. No doubt about. Barrister called him his contemporary when he was alive
Ayinla kollinriong will not die he will live for life This same baba make Fuji be a fantastic in Nigeria , he push Barry Barry push Kollinton the two make Nigeria rock in those day none like that now. Those that want to be like them in Fuji artist now they are fumble know respect of elders they forget that their pioneer are worked well b/4 they continued follows the works that someone create. Why they follow King sunny Ade with gutter. Baba alatika you will live long keep on you are too much.
General Kollington and Dr.sikiru Ayinde Barister(Rip) made Fuji wht it is today though the great Barry is gone baba Alatika is still around and he deserve more National award.May you live long Baba kebe

General Kollington Ayinla the fuji Idol, Fuji Legend. Baba Baba fuji. You and your late friend Dr. Sikiru Ayinde motivator . Both of you modernised fuji music. Brught it to the day light. Baba ignore that nuisance, continue with your work. We love your music.

@EgbaAlake I love this album. Honestly, Kollington's contributions to Fuji music in can never be over emphasized.

This album is definitely one of the best Fuji music of all times. Kudos to General Kollington for great composition.
Fuji megaster, Ropopo, ijo yoyo. The greatest trio for me in quick succession
excellent - what an artist
The only unfortunate thing is that most of all those old music videos cannot be found again--and if they are found, they are mostly in poor conditions for this new age. I can still remember this music video, though I was in pry school, then--maybe pry 3 or 4. I still remember how we gleefully always sang the Okwaraji part of the song, as little children.
God bless you, Baba Alatika himself!
Any day, I still enjoy his unique voice, man is a Legend, if they like it or not😝😊
