    Hi Laura, it’s Lori. Wow! I can’t believe it’s GoodFriday and still so many churches in California are not able to be open. Anyway, I was praying and I felt my heart was saying to share this scripture. It’s such a hard one to get right. I know myself I need to work and be reminded of this scripture all the time.
    ““Refuse to be a critic full of bias toward others, and you will not be judged. For you’ll be judged by the same standard that you’ve used to judge others. The measurement you use on them will be used on you. Why would you focus on the flaw in someone else’s life and fail to notice the glaring flaws of your own? How could you say to your friend, ‘Let me show you where you’re wrong,’ when you’re guilty of even more? You’re being hypercritical and a hypocrite! First acknowledge and deal with your own ‘blind spots,’ and then you’ll be capable of dealing with the ‘blind spot’ of your friend. “Who would hang earrings on a dog’s ear or throw pearls in front of wild pigs? They’ll only trample them under their feet and then turn around and tear you to pieces!”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:1-6‬ ‭TPT‬‬
    PeaceAndLove
    Lori

    Laura, please please have the girls walk their horses after they have been doing a lot of jumping. Both girls just stop and stand and the horses are breathing heavy. This isn't healthy for them. They can walk while Fiona is talking to them.

    I don't agree with you Laura on not riding Storm in lessons. Gabby is at a point with Storm that she can work on more technical stuff which will take her to a new level of riding. If she's able to ride Storm better, she will also be able to ride Chino better. She's can't do that by herself

      Yeah, like the whole clipping thing, a lot of us know what we are doing and have tons and tons of experience with horses. Clipping a horse is so much better for them in so many ways, I’m not going to go into much detail about that because it would take too much time haha

    I don’t know much about Trillium as we don’t have it in 🇬🇧, but some judges etc can be a little anti certain things, even if it’s not in the rule book as such, so people you know and trust who show on the circuit should be able to give you good advice 😊 I think what was being implied by some people is that it’s unlikely that Chino will have fully shed his coat by the time you start Trillium, so inevitably he won’t look as smart as he would if he was clipped fully, the part still shedding will look patchy ( or at least that was my interpretation). Gabby can help things along by giving him a good brush regularly and trying to get as much coat off as possible and giving him a bath once it’s warm enough, or as some have suggested, you clip him, but I can understand why you aren’t keen, although if you do, I’d do it sooner than later so that any clip lines have a chance to grow out 😊
    Good lesson for Gabby too and whether it’s Chino or Storm she can still work on her position, fine tuning all those things that are going to make a difference, although I do think having more lessons on Chino is probably beneficial, I also think it might be best if she sticks to one trainer on Chino, just so Gabby has complete consistency 👍😊

    • @westerncowgirl1310
      @westerncowgirl1310 Před 3 lety +1

      I agree with the one trainer on Chino. Unless Fiona and Brandon talk to each other about the girls’ lessons, Gabby could be told two different things to do and then not know which one to use. I would have one train or for Chino and one for Storm.

    Well wasn’t my ride eventful! I’m posting the videos on my channel later but basically I got decked by Nina once and nearly decked another 2 times 😂. We were jumping and she was doing incredible, but then she came into the jump and farted and spooked at it 🙄 so then on the next approach she was nervous of the jump and I backed off a bit because she was nervous. So she basically launched from a halt and I fell 🤣 I was hanging round her neck and I was literally looking in her eye and she got such a fright because obviously I’m not meant to be there 🤣🤣 I thought she was going to stand on me when I fell but she literally tried her hardest not to and she didn’t luckily 😅. I got back on and did it again a few times and she got her confidence back which is great so hopefully we won’t be doing that again soon 🤪. The weird part is that I had a dream last week that I fell and I literally just did. Lovely that the first dream that comes true has to be that one 🤣😖
    Edit: the video is on my channel now so watch it if you want to 😅
