you need 3 black circles per row, 3 white triangles per row, 1 black triangle per row, 1 black square per row, and 1 white square per row. As for the shape patterns the bottom row is just the top row flipped on a Y axis.
Got the same result, different approach: Diagonally, top right to bottom left, the rows contain the same shapes, but they are always offset one to the left, with the one coming off on the left side coming back in from the right.

An intelligence test has many other types of problems other than the shapes. Many years back I was given a test that a psychologist used--(I think it was the WAIS) and it put me around 130. Most of the online ones will get me in the 125-135 range.
this only tests fluid but has high correlation to g.

The correlation between these tests and Ravens progressive matrices is significantly higher.
so that this mean that the WAIS which is quite reliable is just the same with the the online ones? only differ in points?
I’ve gotten anywhere from 125-134 online too. These tests seem somewhat bullshit anyway, but they probably have some validity in measuring fluid intelligence

Also i witnessed many people in real life taking these tests ages 20 to 25 and rarely someone would score above 120.Contrary to what the media say these tests are also very good at predicting social and emotional intelligence as studies show.There is a substantial correlation between iq and socioemotional cognition which is also found in the brain.If you got a high score be thankful because you didn't do anything to earn it.

I passed these three tests and my results are: 1) 102 points, 2) 109 points, 3) 103 points. I also once passed the Raven matrix test, where I scored 110 points, in the description of the result it was written that I had an outstanding intellect, in turn, I would not say that about myself. I feel very stupid, I wish I hadn't been born. Thank you for the video.

have you heard of the chinese gaokao test? i know someone who scored VERY high and got into a prestigious school; extremely high iq. he makes 70k now. i know someone else who scored fairly low. ended up going to a state school in the US. makes 500k now. his iq wasnt high, but his emotional intelligence was something else. iq can only get you so far, but eq is what truly defines success. those with people skills tend to dominate mere pattern-recognizing machines.
you overestimate iq. eq is what matters, and eq is actually trainable unlike iq.
besides, you score consistently above average. is that really something to kick yourself over? you're smarter than most of the people you meet. that sounds pretty good to me.
On the Mensa Norway test, you were supposed to click "Next" on the answers you did not know, rather than picking a letter at random because it changes your final score.

I think that is a Rubic cube, so the colours cant overlap position. I think is C, but i am not quite sure. The reason is that in others answers, some colours overlap..

Yay, I'm smarter than i thought. 133 in NO and 138 in DK. But i did not understand couple of the last ones in DK. When i watched you struggle with them i finally understood some of them but not the last one. I rly enjoyed the symmetry in the DK test.
At least the 2nd to last one in DK is they the column of colors move down 1 space and the colors in each column move to the right 1 space. The last 1 idk
Those scores are pretty impressive!
The last one in DK (39) is pretty hard, but it becomes evident once you see the solution. In each box, take the first two columns and shift them to the right in the next box according to the following rules: square -> circle, circle -> triangle, triangle -> square.
To demonstrate this, I will use coordinates like (x,y), where x describes the row of the given box, and y refers to the column of the box. In the first row of the puzzle, we look at the first and second figures inside the box, which are (1,1) square, and (1,2) triangle. In the next box, we shift and change them according to the rules. We can see that indeed, (1,2) of the second box is a circle (1,1 square -> 1,2 circle), and (1,3) is a square (1,2 triangle -> 1,3 square). You can confirm that it works for every row of each box in the puzzle.
In order to get the answer, we look at the middle box of the last column and focus on the first two columns within the box. The transformations to the third box (i.e. the answer) will look like this:
(1,1) square -> (1,2) circle
(1,2) square -> (1,3) circle
(2,1) triangle -> (2,2) square
(2,2) triangle -> (2,3) square
(3,1) triangle -> (3,2) square
(3,2) square -> (3,3) circle
The only answer that has this combination of figures in the last two columns is F
exercise 23: each row had 3 blackened circles, 1 triangle and 1 square. So the answer had to be a blackened circle and a triangle. And the 1st and 3rd rows seem to be reversed with the order of the shapes so i picked F.

Intelligence is not something to be proud of
I’m not talking about hard work, or anything like that, but run-of-the-mill intelligence, the kind that means you can put less effort into learning things and still do well/understand stuff better than other people. People get so much praise for it and I see no point or merit in that.
Feeling proud of being smart is as empty and meaningless as feeling proud for being beautiful. It’s not something you created or worked towards, it’s an arbitrary characteristic completely out of your control that you were born with.
It’s pointless to feel proud of something that’s totally out of your hands. It doesn’t reflect on the kind of person you are. What’s more important is the decisions you make, how you behave, and what you do with the hand you’re given in life. Those are things to be proud of.

Except intelligence can be worked towards. You can gain intelligence with practice and effort. Human beings should have pride in their intelligence, it's what got humanity this far, and will be the what gets us farther. People can also work on their body image through exercise, and self care. There's nothing wrong with being prideful about it as long as you're not doing it to the extent of being a narcissist. Ask yourself if you're projecting your own insecurities.

The Norwegian was much easier than all the IQ tests I do for jobs, and I get slightly above average on those. Plus this pase is slower than mine. My scores are compared to people within my field of work, but that would mean that my colleagues would all be in Mensa, which is of course not likely.

I've taken three proctored iq tests in total starting from adolescence to date, and I've scored from 135 to 145. Each test was completely different. For those whom think they will study such that they can inflate their score somehow before taking the test is sorely mistaken. Sure, you can study vocab and read a lot to inflate verbal fluency, or practice geographical quizzes that test for location and distance. You could perhaps even practice with numbers, memorization and counting. Or, you could learn strategies for solving visual puzzles; but this will only increase your score by like 3 points at most. The test is generally concerned with how many questions you get correct with time remaining: that is, your agility and endurance, which plays a pretty significant role in iq and G-factor.. which cannot be faked or practiced.
The right answer in 23 is F (first test). If you want further explanation why, I can explain.

Hey dont feel bad, i also just above average but not genius also mine was 121 on denmark, dont feel sad with iq bc it doesnt use enough in our world/ daily life. Most of our life we need knowledge to do something . Iq makes easier to understand the knowledge. Like maths, we learn maths to know how to count but iq makes u be able to explore what's inside the count and make use of it. Thats why we seen many ppl who had iq can elaborate something to be better. Thats just it. It helps u to be the top in humanity, thats all. Since im just above average, all i wanted was a good happy life. It doesnt guud tho if u get a genius iq but doesnt had a happy life. But still being above average we still could see something a bit that average ppl couldn't see you should be happy with that ! :D

I scored 133 on the Norway test, but I've done 10 of these types of tests in my life so practice can definitely affect it.

Funny, I took the Norway test and got 98. I assume my adhd interfered because I was constantly daydreaming and didn't finish it in time. I took it a second time with a bit more discipline and got 108. A few months later, I took the Denmark test and got 123, Finnish (121), and Hungarian (120). I would like to think the three last tests give a more accurate representation given they show a good score. However, maybe there was a practice effect from the two times I took the Norway test that led to improvement. If this were the case, I don't know how to gauge what my score range is.

@Noah Joseph No, but the thing is, each test has different kinds of questions. All of these questions are figure series type questions, and the only way to gauge my IQ for these types of questions is to take an actual test. This is because the test can verify how well I generally answer these types of questions by giving a certain variety and quantity. Because of these factors, it's difficult to gauge an accurate mean.
I have ADD but I like doing Iq tests I got 130 on Denmark but my real iq is more like a 120 Iq, doing more gives you do knowledge of how to handle Iq problems. you seem to have 115iq
Because iq tests are so similar, you redoing them would obviously lead to a higher score. You probably have about 100-105.

These types of tests are nowhere near a real IQ test. People whom use them to measure their intelligence against others (while actually believing it are valid tests) are morons and should seek professional help (where their true IQ probably will be measured). Because I have autism and chronic depression, my intelligence has been measured on multiple occasions when I reached out for help. I score 99 percentile in most online tests while my actual valid professional taken IQ tests are nowhere near of that (still score very bright, the 4 tests I have been mandated in my life were always around 122 give or take 1-5 points. But it's definitely not the 150's 160's I score in online tests)

Hey man, as far as I can see, your score, as well as mine and svensk8squad´s score (who commented here too), indicate that Mensa Denmark gives you a 5 points lower IQ compared to Norway. I did the Mensa Admission Test and asked my percentile and maybe my result is higher cause I might have left unchecked some answers put in the wrong question if I ever did it more than once (just conspiracy) after I rechecked it, but my official score indicates what I expected: Norway lies 15 points more from the official IQ (in reality it captures from 70 to 130, duh) and Denmark 10 points (caps at 70, but goes till 135 for some reason). Nice video and insights about the topic!

On the last test, the arrow inverts colors and you forgot to invert it and got the question wrong, lowering your iq

I had a 133, and one of my closest friends had an IQ of 138. However, I am diagnosed with ADHD, and in a more serious test I took by a psychiatrist, that also lowered the result (and the test really showed it particularly). I expect that it had affected this one too.

Most likely, the best approximation you can do is get the average (129), a proctored test would see to your true score though.
The score that i got on mensa Norway first try was 128 (anxious) and after taking it again 135.In the mensa Denmark and Finland i took them almost two years ago (i don't remember the scores) and now i took them again and scored in both 135.Mensa Sweeden max 126.
I recently got 142 on full scale real iq test and 145 on spatial specifically.In Greece the average iq is 92.

Re taking the same test does not mean your iq got higher, you can only account your first score. Once you take it once your brain remembers patterns.

You need to answer the questions correctly to get a score, it's going to tell you that exact message if you randomly answer through each question. First I got a score of 145+ and because I was curious, I tried doing it again by clicking randomly and got that exact message as well.

It's weird because it seems like most people who take them score at LEAST 120 on any given test. Maybe it's because people who actively search for them actually care about the result and so they try harder, or something. Still weird, though. Really, thats wierd... I scored like 131 on the Norway one and 130 on the Denmark one (with distractions tho). I also have a friend that also scored 131 on the Norway one and she got similar results on a test at the psychologist(130~). Soo yea your results are odd.

Question 21 of the first test was E, not B. The first row adds parts when over lapped, the second row subtracts parts when they overlap. To continue the pattern, the third row must add parts when overlapping.
Short answer : you are wrong
Long anwer : First of all it's not just about adding parts or subtracting parts , it's about adding what is uncommon and subtracting what is common. Now in the first row there is no common part except for some points so they add up. Now you may say the points didn't subtract. But look at the 2nd row of the question 11 , here 1 st image should subtract from 2 nd image but here also the points didn't get erase. The iq test is wrong here I guess. If anyone reads this please comment back have you understood my point or not. No pun intended.
No, in the first row there was nothing to subtract because there was nothing they had in common, on the second row, what overlapped (what they had in common) got subtracted and what they didn't have in common was added. If you study the pattern you would come to the conclusion that B is the correct answer.

Very good proposal. I do think most tests are only good to separate who is gifted and who is not, and they are not useful to really measure intelligence.
@hitler did noting worong yeah, it’s just a metric for evaluating how your brain works in one way. In this case, it’s for the purpose of pattern recognition. It has been said (misattributed to Stephen Hawking although no such proof exists) that “intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” I tend to agree with that sort of sentiment...I’ve seen stupid people be brilliant and brilliant people be stupid, and either in positions unbefitting of what we’d conventionally expect.

@@wrttech422 Bruh I got a 124 on the Denmark test but an 89 on the Sweden one. Then I got a 105 on Norway. I think if I were to take a real IQ test it would explode from confusion on my answers.
On question 35 of test #2 is it reasonable to assume we are supposed to take C and turn the square on its side. That will give us the 4 red squares in the top right quadrant and the 4 blue squares in the top left.
The way that I solved it was: for each one of the rows - take the left tile and rotate it 90 degrees to the right. Then take the second picture and swap the cube in any of the gray tiles to the other gray tile, and then rotate the figure 90 degrees to the left and that's your solution. Using that logic you also get that C is the correct solution.

I’m still not sure what my estimated iq is, after seeing these scores, I would love to have your opinion as to what it is, I’m 14 btw.
It is very hard to tell what your estimated IQ is, since you are 14 years old (btw I’m also 14 😊). But I would think your IQ is approximately 125…I mean…you can improve that score to get it to a higher level (maybe around 131 very gifted). I did that with a lot of training and I increased my visual intelligence and got 135 on the danish IQ test. Thereafter I trained and got a 145+ on the Norway test

A high iq doesn't mean youll make good grades, it just means youll likely be able to make higher grades than the average person with less study. Like wrt tech stated in this video, these tests were not meant to replace a psychologist proctored IQ test, and you should take your scores with a grain of salt. These mensa tests also only test fluid intelligence, and lack the crystalized section to give you a G score.
I think IQ has do with the way your brain works like understanding simple things with no explanations and a faster brain over all
Despite this video being uploaded 1 year ago, I'll share my results. I've taken the test before watching the video and this is what I've got:
Norway: 145 (too easy, 1-2 qs were hard)
Denmark: 135 (“Hardest” one in my opinion, finished with 20 mins left)
Sweden: 126 Maxed.
These tests are not accurate, either too many people lied about their scores or the scores are bulked-up, which is most likely to be the second option.
Probably the real I.Q. value lies between the results -15 or -10 points.
Having an I.Q. above 130 (being aware that I.Q. doesn't constitute the whole meaning of intelligence) means to be extremely smart, occupy important positions in society and stick out around people.
Besides, there is a big jump when it comes to understanding the world around you once you go above 130, even more above 140.

Tbh the 130 gifted IQ isn't even that rare. Rarity is only 1/44 (which is rare but not very rare). There are millions of people at or above 130 IQ (~175000000) so don't go walking around thinking you're a big shot just because you gotta high IQ. There are also millions of people with 140-150 IQ. Being good at something like IQ could be useful but honestly doesn't really mean much if you don't know how to implement IQ in the real world. Also I think I encountered an article about this test at some point when doing research on validity about comparisons with the Mensa Denmark and Norway compared to the real IQ test called "WAIS" and the average difference was 12-15 points. That means it was "deflated" by around 13 points on average for that healthy sample. Many people with PhDs were scoring 115-125 for the test and higher for the official test (~138). The conclusion was that the norms were based off of an internet sample and not a real world sample. Still this is only one subtest from the comprehensive test, but it has been claimed that this single test may be the best way to measure intelligence according to the creator of the matrices tests. Also I talked to a couple Mensans regarding this internet test (Mensa Norway and Mensa Dk) and they said that the majority of the people who took the internet test scored around ten points higher on the real Mensa test. Now, there are various obvious reasons that surface for me as to why the internet test is harder than the real Mensa test/comprehensive test. Anyway I don't personally believe IQ is exactly intelligence, but it is a nice attempt to figure out what intelligence is and it also correlates with various real world outcomes so at least it has that.
@@wozkafAzrael Well, if we assume that IQ is globally equally distributed on the bell curve with an average score of 100 points on a Wechsler scale (which is slightly inaccurate because it changes from country to country, yet close to the factual data), having an IQ above 130 makes you stand at the top 2-3%; yes there are plenty of people with an IQ above 130, but in relation to the global population extremely few have scored that high. Only 2-3% out of 8 billion people got a score equal/above 130 so we would be considering aproximatively 160-240 million people, that's small compared to the global population.
For IQ of 140 and above we get to around 1% of the population, still relatively very few people tho.
Now, my comment wasn't meant to brag about scores nor to create classifications based on online IQ tests results. I made the comment because I sincerely don't believe that I scored that high; I am inclined to think that the scores are bulked up in order to entice you in taking and paying for a real test, so the true scores, in my opinion, must be lower than that.
While for intelligence, I completely agree with you! IQ is just a small grain of sand in the desert, yet it covers an important role when it comes to understanding the world around you. It doesn't necessarily mean that for having “success”, whatever meaning you attribute to the word, you need that component only. On the other hand, if your goal is occupying big positions in companies or working in certain fields of society having a high IQ is nearly essential, together with many other qualities, whether them being physical or psychological.
@@aiden8506 yes it's possible that you'll score lower on a comprehensive test as a real IQ test usually includes the verbal comprehension index etc. Sometimes when people score high on matrices it may not be an accurate representation of their IQ as its possible that they have ASD (or some other problem) which artificially boosts IQ scores for matrices and may give you the false impression that you're intelligent. Also, while these type of tests may be accurate it cannot give you the full picture of you overall intelligence (assuming that it actually does measure intelligence to an extent). So obviously a real test will be necessary. But it should be told that matrices/fluid intelligence usually correlates at least moderately with verbal ability and common sense stuff + memory and processing speed. And yes this test may be completely inaccurate as it's just an online IQ test and you cannot trust fake IQ tests over real ones.

Hi there , i have tried three my score is mensa norway(109) sweeden(108)dk(118) but i have tried mensa practise set in which i score miserably( 80) any idea please help me i felt like i am idiot
109, 108 are both in the average range, while 118 scores above average. 80 id below average. I would take a proctored test if I were you, but the best approximation of result I can give you is: (80+108+109+118)/4 ~ 104, 104 is average.
Take the official mensa test. by the looks of things you lie in the average range meaning that you have nothing to worry about

Which test is the most accurate in your opinion ?
My friend scored 2 points higher on his official IQ test than he did on Mensa Denmark. Id say Mensa Denmark and Mensa Norway are pretty accurate, but you have to take into consideration the fact that these tests only test one domain of intelligence, fluid reasoning. Most IQ tests today will test Verbal(VIQ), and Performance(PIQ), and the two subscores will be combined to give you a g score.

@@wrttech422 Uhm, I got a question, I have to add that I have ADD, so the unconcentrated form of ADHD and when I took the tests there were special circumstances because I can't focus very well, I have to add that I had medication at that time, but I'm not entirely sure If I took them at the same day, where I took the Mensa Norway and Danmark test, I tend to say yes at least on the mensa norway, but with a too low dose that didn't catch up my add to the point where i could say, I had the best circumstances to focus, I could focus better but not to the top to use my whole brain power and focus to that test, also I have to add that I did the test in the evening like half 8 pm and now, on a very appealing dose I am at the point where I am most enthusiastic as I think I could be, I was at a good time to do, but the nervousness increased exponentially in cause of the limited time factor, but I did it in that circumstances and achieved a IQ of 135. I know that the questions have to be familiar to me in cause of my second try, but I am also that kind of thinker that doesn't remember that much fundamental things so well like other people, so I automatically "learn" by using logic in real time, hope you understand that, I just want to have a honest and objective idea, if that result can be valid.

you scored approximately in the 90-91st percentile, so in a room full of 100 people, you would rank as the 10th or 9th person. You certainly do seem to recognize patterns quite well, but that's not really the same as being clever, I'd claim.
@@TheVeganFreediver Same, 120 is quite common if you live an average life, if you spend 3 hours walking in London you’d probably see more than 5000 people, subconsciously seeing a person with an IQ of 150+ would be inevitable.

It's F, I believe. There are three distinct form that have additional 2 form that are equally formed, yet the color moves by one block and so the others follow.

Okay so I took Norway like a year ago and scored a 102, which I was a little bummed about, but could buy it I guess. Yesterday I retook it and scored a 97 which alarmed me, but shortly afterwards I took it again but approached it differently and got it to jump to 112... then I took Denmark shortly afterwards the same evening and got a 119 (first attempt), and then just now (a good 24 hours or so later) I took Sweden and got a 116 (also first attempt)... so I guess I’m wondering if my Denmark and Sweden scores were inflated by my multiple attempts at the Norway, or if I really am near the 97/102 ranking... I’m very confused lol
You shouldn't take the same test over and over. Also, these tests were only meant to be taken for fun, not to replace an official test. They are as accurate as they can be for online tests.

• 2011, paid $15 online no preparation, ravens got 128.
• few months later I used the idea of being well rested, not hungry, etc. paid $15 online got 132 on ravens
• 2013 paid $15 for ravens got 124
• 2023 did Norway matrices not focused... got 107
This online puzzle stuff seems potentially very misleading. 25 point difference, one and two thirds "standard" deviation. I could be 65th to 98th percentile? lol!

The best way to find out your IQ is to do as many free online IQ test as possible and the average result will be true performance.
