The elections in 2016 and 2020 were extremely close. The GOP was in no position to lose any women voters. The GOP should have the house majority by a lot more than one seat. In normal pre 2016 politics the GOP would have a thirty or forty seat majority. It has been one hundred years since there was such a low majority in the house of reps for a party not in the WH.

While it's great that people would rather vote for Nikki Haley than trump, when it comes to the final November vote, they will be throwing away their votes on someone who has no chance to win. In November, you have to decide who is the best candidate whether you are a democrat or republican and vote accordingly. It's as simple as that. Voting for someone not even on the ballot is such a waste of your right to vote and doesn't help with deciding who the next president will be. So it's nothing to be proud of if you say, "well, I wrote in someone" or voted for Donald Duck, you just let the candidate you didn't like win.
Nikki Haley would make a great Ambassador to NATO; if President Joe Biden gets re-elected, he should give her that post.
