India’s maritime forces are braving through adversaries with its latest missile destroyers and recon assets to secure the region along with international players.

China is fighting to maintain the globalisation philosophy from which it has done so well. Much of the world has come to realise that globalisation has not been good for the western nations who have offshored manufacturing, making them dependent on unfriendly states. The Chinese can blame Putin's Russia for that. The last thing china needs now is anything that further calls into question the wisdom of importing Chinese products.

Given a few more decades, the West would have completely lost its manufacturing industry, technology and expertise. This news article seemed like an Indian Navy advert. The anchor got no idea how vast is the area (Red Sea, Gulf Of Aden and the Arabian Sea). 3 naval assets + recon by the P8s, too less / few for such a vast area.
