Geddy, Alex and Neil approve! They are also grateful!!
I was looking for this comment. Well done!
@@Tetasha .... How do you know when you’ve made a really good piece of music?
Rush borrows it....LOL
I recently clued-in to the echo of this in “La Villa Strangiato” by Rush, in the “Monsters” section, but does anyone hear Raymond Scott referenced elsewhere in their music?
Greetings Rush brothers!
This probably the best contemporary Live version of folks doing this one. Very good
The worlds supply of Iludium Fostex ( the shaving cream atom) is in short supply.
Your mission is to fly to Planet X and secure the resource..........

@@wakrusgumbo theyre learning the songs you like, arent they? who cares where they hear it?
@@sunbirth4795 You get folks trying to say that someone copied Madness Combat because they use this.
...and it's like: no.
@@wakrusgumbo yeah, and.... theyre idiots. So?
Used in Warner Brother’s Cartoons
I’ve also heard Benny Goodman play , Benny playing Tenor
Also spongebob and madness combat
YESSSSSSSSSS❤❤❤AWESOME!!!!!❤❤❤ I've ALWAYS loved this! Never known what it was called,
just new it as "The Looney Toons Factory Song".
(Classically trained by Warner Brothers & Disney)
Imagine running around in the back rooms with this song
While there is a skinny 8 legged human like figure with a cartoonishly giant smile chasing you saying "CEASE YOUR FLESH" in a dark tone.
@@One_Man_Band While there is a clown with orange hair, Green skin, And an exposed jaw chasing it with weird red text flashing near it.

I LOVE this rendition of this utterly delightful piece!!! I've listened to several performances of this piece, one of which included Scott himself playing, and this one gets the top prize in my book.
Thank you so much for your comment. As this was recorded at 2 in the morning after having an afternoon performance with a completely different set on a very hot day, it isn't without some minor issues, but the energy was right.
Thank you Susan, so nice to read.
2 years ago we recorded an album , entirily dedicated to Scott’s music (Both acoustic and electronic) it’s calleD IMAGINE RAYMOND ... You should find this online . If not ... give me a call and I’ll send it right away
@@michelmast I would love to buy your album! I tried to figure out how to but was confused by what I could find online. If you can give me instructions on how to purchase it online, that would be great, or otherwise yes, I'd appreciate your sending it and I can send a check or pay in whatever way is easy for you. I'm not a musician, but I'm sure I got some helpful genes for appreciating music from my dad, who was. Your group playing this piece reminds me of a group my father took to Carnegie Hall in the 80's. My email is s_cummings67@yahoo.com.
Great performance!
Great version! This sounds better than most orchestras that attempt this tune. They usually butcher it by adding WAY too much.
My face hurts from grinning...bravo guys....I love it...
Makes me 😁 every time I hear this.
I love it!!!
Awesome!
Terrific job guys!
Bravoo Bravoo!
Superb.
Great music, talent
HANK!!!!
I got talked into doing this with a Baritone sax... it wasn't pretty. Thought I'd pass out before we went for the bridge...
What shade of purple did you turn?
Really cool 😎
Nice interpretation !
This is fantastic, I'd love to hear these fellows do DK Island swing.
Drummer is cute as a button...im in love.
Silly Glidescube, you can't fall in love with someone just because of their physical appearance. For all we know drummer boi might be a drug addict. Who knows?
I agree hes incredibly cute (am here bc of madness btw)
@@firslas2522 shut up loser
The sixteen year-old on the drums is having waaaaay to good a time.
Yes, he needs to concentrate harder. Mr. Scott would not tolerate his sloppiness.

I loved the extended tenor sax solo in the middle section! But---Raymond Scott would never have approved...
No, he wouldn't, but wasn't around to keep us from having some fun!
emtube : we waited until RS passed away ;o)
HANKKKKK
GREAT GUNS, is this good! :D
Imagine if a clown with a jetpack holding an m60 shows up
ha exactly
I could visualize bugs messing with the guy in the yellow shirt as he hits all those perfect notes
1:23 madness combat
A CLOWN!!
It's weird to hear a modern cymbal in there.
Not for madness fans. It’s normal for us.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK
This is great! And, the instrumentation is very close to Raymond Scott's, who performed this piece as a sextet.

Spoiler alert ! This is the final BIS-act, the only musically interesting and fun piece of the entire set.
Tiky
the sax? the drums? dope as fuck
Spongebob référence
But, um, you are using sheet music. Raymond Scott would have stopped you from doing that. :-)
