Super Auto Pets is a cute free autobattler (like Teamfight Tactics) that is really cute and has some strategic depth. Give it a try, you may be surprised by how much it mooves you!
NL, you should *always* take a caterpillar on turn 3. it'll automatically level itself up on turn 5 giving you access to a tier 4 unit for free, and even if you just sell it to buy said tier 4 unit that's fine. but you also almost always get a scaling unit by the endgame and having it automatically duplicated for low opportunity cost is really good.
Cattlerpillar as level up reward is so fucking pog. It's +1 per turn with some extra level up rewards and then matches your biggest unit for the rest of the game. How you could ever skip it while on tier 2 pets is beyond me
The way it played out was way more fun though. The shop scaling with the dragon was more entertaining and that wouldn't have happened if he took the caterpillar

It's only fun when he wins, otherwise it's a waste of time for the viewer. Don't get me wrong, NL is great, but as someone who has no ambition to play this game, watching him lose feels like a wasted 10 minutes.

It is often overlooked that a caterpillar doesn't just become a butterfly. It also gets +1/+1 every turn for free. And 1/4 stats on turn 3 aren't that so far under par that it is unworkable.
It's also an engine for a higher tier animal on level up.
@@supersteez5316 Yeah, which it does without you having to pay anything. Especially good if you get it turn 3 because then it levels up turn 5 just in time to get an early tier 4.
I was on a CZcams watching cleanse for a couple weeks and then I come back and I've shotgunned the last 25 episodes of SAP in two days. It's insane. This content is amazing

I know this bit is funny when NL does it, but in a youtube comment you just come off as a jerk. Also, I stand buy what I said. If you want to take a round of to focus on scaling, you'd much rather do that later when the *amount* of scaling is much better. And you don't get to do that if you go 0/2 your first rounds.

This Bat demonstrated EXACTLY what would happen to that "permanent" Melon armor.
On paper, pill on turtle is good but weakness straight up overwrites it.

Chicken Dragon Water Buffalo was definitely the most interesting set I've seen so far
Immediately after watching this I was blessed by an early hippo run supplemented with kangaroo, Lvl 2 Dodo, and then scaling from Lvl 2 Dragon. 10 wins and first time using Dragon.
I've recently started playing this and I'm hooked. This game is so much fun dude. So now I'm here to see the OG and how he does it. I've gotten some 8/9 wins but lost my best chance at 10 because I didn't know 50/50 was the highest stats and I had a worm being overbuffed when I could've traded out monkey/dodo for something that actually does stuff. Things like that I tried to Google but the games not big enough yet and I couldn't find an answer. You can only really learn from videos and experience.

In his mind a lvl 1 blowfish is a level 300 barbarian warrior with thorn armor that kills entire kingdoms. In reality it *sometimes* does 2 damage once.
i think for him he's always too committed to a line up by the time tier six comes around that he doesn't even really acknowledge them. if you asked him what sauropods tool-tip says I'm not sure he'd know.
@@jeremyblack1929 it annoys me soo much NL the blowfish DOESN'T WORK, even if you level it up to level 2 it deals 4 damage and that becomes useless a few more turns later as well
@@TripleSpaceBar I am not a smart man, and I've only had 10 wins once, and even I know that blowfish is actually quite bad.
That was a crazy yet extremely cool build NL did at the end there with the dragon and chicken just buying and selling Tier 1 animals for major buffs. XD

Oh man I think they need to nerf weakness somehow. Either make bat a higher tier or make the hit units predictable. 5 extra damage early is busted since it buffs ping damage and getting your 1up or melon armor useless late game is scorpion levels of game ruining, only on 3 units rather than 1 and less counterable
If you wanna counter bats just use a microbe + lvl 2 or 3 turtle build
They actually just nerfed weakness today to make it 3 extra damage instead!
Mm, it's the item removal that really gets me. It is cool how the new pack is partially oriented around a few small mechanics. Hearing that it's nerfed to 3 damage helps, but it's still killer
there are so many people running spambuilds for me scorpion has been feeling underwhelming a lot except when they ran their scaler first which doesn't happen that often for me
@@blacksuitedsonic in the paid packs you encounter a lot more builds with a couple strong enemies in the mid game in particular, and I find scorp pretty good... Right up until it gets weakened and useless.

Two level 1 puppies even if temporary gives a lot of power, even 3 may be a good idea. Had a great run with 3 level 1 dogs early and they scaled great

@@Nowolf both scale their own ways so two level 1 puppies would each gain +1 +1 for having 2 coins left now you have two high scaling units that you could combine later if needed rather than put them together at once, you will need to have a team that can carry them for a bit
i really like turtle butterfly combo essentially giving it melon armor always and if microbe is involved you now have a unit that can easily stomp out the rest of their team.

Honestly that first game should've gotten a turtle to go in front of the lv3 Caterpillar. Nullifies Weakness and allows an actual buff on the Butterfly.

Absolutely love the series. Will say NL is improving a lot but could still use some work on his unit positioning. Usually want your strongest unit up first/second, also fell for buying/keeping a puffer fish when he had no interest in investing into it (ant already had better stats and would have been more useful)

I really like using a turtle in p2w queue because the melon armor counters the bat/microbe meta very hard

Selling the level 3 ant early on rather than rolling for a pill to get a 6/3 upgrade permanently floored me. Also blowfish is trash stop taking it.
