      How much do you think the plastic packaging costs per box? 5c? 10c?
      Also think about the machine that fills the plastic tray. It could be that machine is much cheaper and more efficient than the alternative that would roll the ammo in paper and staple it.

    I’m glad that PSA is working on providing the gun community with some great products. I would have like to have seen the same style boxes as the Tula and Wolf. Berdan primers would have been fine maybe those two things could have kept the price point down a couple bucks. I’m just guessing but most people that shoot 7.62x39 aren’t snipers they are looking for something cheap to go to the range with and blow a few mags.

If I can get brass case FMJ for 45 cents a round RIGHT NOW it shouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to get steel case for 25 cents a round when buying cases of 1000. I'm super glad for what PSA has done for us and I hope they keep it going but 45 cents a round for steel case that doesn't even have free shipping is too much. Most indoor ranges still won't let you shoot steel case even though there is no steel in the bullet itself. Because of this I myself am still sitting on a pile of Wolf steel case from 5 years ago.

    • @rsagmil
      @rsagmil Před 4 měsíci

      @@shawnsanders9450my point was that no one is selling steel case for anything remotely close to 25c. Ammo seek has cheapest at 42c (before shipping, etc). I'm jealous of your stash.
      I got into this after the "glory days" of dirt cheap ammo and as such have never experienced any of these "i remember when" prices. It gets annoying hearing complaints with price when this ammo is right in line with the current prices.
      If people are truly gouging then having a new supplier will bring the cost down through competition. At least that's the silver lining (or cope-ium) that i am focusing on.
