Some people hate the fabric so much! I have used it many times in different projects, and yes, it is not eternal, but holds for many years. Right now I'm experimenting with cardboard, but I wouldn't use it in a space like here, I think you are doing the best option. It's looking great!!
Omg... I'm in Schertz also! My plan is to get rid of 99% of my front lawn... it's been crispy since May 😜. Just found your channel so I'm going to see what I can find here to help that process out.

Just curious as to which plants you put in that area. I have an area in my front yard along the sidewalk that needs drought tolerant plants.
