You can drive your weight into their knee shield and then, driving off your toes, switch your hips and it will clear it

Weave your far side arm through the legs, sprawl onto your tip toes, use your other arm to grab the back of the head and tip toe past the shield….

A lot of the problem is also placement. They can’t you lav mics because it will hurt them when rolling and they’ll break. A shotgun on the camera is often too far away. They’d need a boom op guy to boom over them.
