I came up with this idea while listening to the song while driving and I did this whole animatic- start to finish- in one afternoon... send help.

The song is Fragile Things from Centaurworld and the characters are Tiso and Quirrel from Hollow Knight.

I actually think they did tiso dirty. He was just a warrior who loved to fight. Ironically what did him in was what he stood against, a cowards way, a cheap shot.
honestly tho! i liked him i thought he was more of a jockish big brother type totally undeserving of his death
i think it does help illustrate the brutality of Hallownest though. plenty of undeserving bugs die there :(
I think he just died doing what he wanted. He just wasn't a strong enough warrior but that doesn't mean it doesn't fit his character. He wanted to fight and he finally found a fight worthy of him.
I read that there was supposed to be more but they unfortunately had to cut him short because they ran out of time or money. I forget which.
I would like him more if he didn't insult my beloved stag's livelihood
The fact the Tiso pointed at the Fools Arena when it said vengeance hurts my soul

Never played hollow knight but I can tell that Hollow is quite ambitious I assume and overconfident

These two are Tiso (the fighter) and Quirrel (the one with the mask) they are both side characters and (as far as I know) don’t interact in game. I really suggest looking more into the fandoms! It’s really amazing trust me!

[Cough] Anyway, this is so fucking pretty!! I love the Quirrel-Tiso dynamic sm, regardless if it's platonic or romantic. There's just something so fun about these two and they compliment eachother very well, and you've brought that out wonderfully here!! Quirrel's more laidback nature vs Tiso's habit of darting right into things is presented so well, genuinely glad I found this eventually ^^

This is amazing, the expressions and interactions, the transitions and timing, the composition of each frame. Truly awesome!
I don't know whether this is a ship or not but I choose to see it as mentor and student teetering on found family father and son. Horse's energy at the beginning of the show definitely fits Tiso. He's in a new place filled with unfamiliar wonders but all he can think of is what's familiar to him; combat.
Wammawink's insistence on caution and reassurance that she can protect the rest of the Herd very much fits with Quirrel; he would rather not lose anyone else he cares about to the infection in any way, shape, or form; but he's very much willing to lay his own life on the line to protect others.
