National Campus Vaccination Drive

In support of the FSM government’s minimum 70% vaccination target, COM-FSM’s Emergency Management Team recommend everyone over-18 years old to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Getting vaccinated lowers the risk of serious illness and hospitalization from COVID-19 - to protect your health and in support of repatriating and reuniting families stranded overseas, we strongly recommend all in the community to get vaccinated.
An online survey of COM-FSM employees showed that 144 people had received their first dose of the vaccine, representing 58% of survey respondents currently within FSM borders. Uptake of the vaccine is highest at Yap campus, FSM-FMI (68% and 42% respectively) and Chuuk (50%). Fewer people have got vaccinated in Kosrae (19%), and the two campuses in Pohnpei; 27% at CTEC and 24% at National.
