Angst vs desperation. Ronnie’s interpretation is so incredibly powerful & the lyrics hit much harder at 41 than when I was 17.

I want to recommend a double reaction of I'm not a vampire and I'm not a vampire revamped by falling in reverse! The revamped video is amazing!
He has 2 other song that he has reimaged like this one, I recommend watching the original then the new one. The Drug in me is you and I am not a vampire. All 4 are great, but the reimaged versions are my favorites. Its a unique talent to recreate a song in a completely different way.

This version feels like an angry desperate cry for help compared to the original which is still iconic. It’s amazing how the lyrics sang a different way can hit you differently 😢❤.

The absolute best analogy I've heard, is the original was an angry teenager screaming at the world for what goes wrong. This version is that person as an adult after the real world has beaten the life out of him.

Your music videographer input is what makes you unique and you actually contribute to the “reaction world” so many are jumping into, with some unfortunately just using the platform to promote themselves, but you add needed perspective and your emotions are real plus you always give the creators kudos. Yup im glad Black Pegasus brought you in and turned you on to these guys. You're one of those people that you not just feel the music, you feel the aesthetic of the entire thing, the videos mood (somber in this case) becomes you're mood. Ronnie's interpretation of this song is really hard to call a cover, its literally a brand new song. The only 2 things that survived was the lyrics, and the iconic guitar riff, which was originally composed on piano anyway. This is just a pure work of art and your analysis of it was raw and incredibly thought provoking.
Yeah, I like when reactors go through a range of motions and have an actual genuine reaction to a Music masterpiece like this. He was moving in sync to the emotional rollercoaster.
Right! It is almost reminiscent(to me at least) of how Trent Reznor said that "Hurt" is now Johnny Cashs song. This is just an amazing interpretation/rendition of this song.

At 9:01… favorite shot. Background focus of the building crumbing, and the smooth shift to the foreground statue focus as the camera floats. Heat! There’s also a wallpaper on the background wall. I don’t know if that wallpaper is specific to White House, but it feels familiar in a historical way.

He fixed the world in this song. This is a Ronnie Radke redemption arc and we are all lucky to be a part of it.
I had the same emotional reaction when watching this, his voice and the cinematography just makes you FEEL the pain of what this song speaks about. His interpretation is so surreal, he just gets it! I literally have watched this video dozens of times and I tear up every dang time.

Absolutely beautiful reaction, your facial expressions show that you FELT that one and it made me so happy that you noticed the 'statue' crying. My daughters loved Papa Roach so I heard the original way too much and didn't much care for it, but this reimagining is so powerful and connects with the struggles I have from time to time.
I love just about every reactor, but really enjoy reactors who bring insight into various aspects of the song whether it's vocal techniques, or in your case the work that was put in to get these shots and producing the video. Love learning new things on how everything comes together and you're very knowledgeable on the behind the scenes work. Great reaction.

Bruh, I'm new to reaction channels. Always thought it was kinda a dumb idea, tbh... But then I think back to all those times I got excited about something I had heard or seen and tried to show it to people around me, only for them to be like "oh yeah, that's dope." just to appease me. But I started seeing reactors on youtube that actually felt the way I did about things, and were first-timing some epic content, and through them, I was able to relive my first times seeing or hearing certain things, and it's been an amazing journey. And there are several reactors I enjoy based on their own perspectives. Not trying to plug other creators on your channel, so I'll use initials. When it comes to lyrical and compositional breakdowns, KH hears at least as much as I do, rarely ever missing, and sometimes noticing more than I did. As far as the FEEL of the music, I'm a huge fan of SK, TGOS and recently discovered BP as another kindred spirit. Saw you on BP's channel, reacting to 'Watch the World Burn' and immediately hopped over to your channel, hitting subscribe before i watched a single video cuz you're on it! These songs and videos that mean so much to me, it's amazing to see them hit other people the same way they hit me, and I'm looking forward to more content.

This reminds me so much of when Johnny Cash covered NINs song Hurt when Trent Reznor said when he wrote HURT he never felt it was his song but didnt know who to give it to and knew it had to be recorded so he did and when Johnny Cash covered it he said it was always ment to be and always will be Johnnys song and 3 days later Johnny left us!!! Last resort was Jacobys break out song but this song was, in my opinion waiting 23 years for Ronnie, PAPPA ROACH my second concert ever in Modesto CA 4 days before i went to boot camp my buddy grew up with one of the band members so we went back stage after the concert and that was my last best memory as a kid but this song was made for Ronnie for sure!!!
Ronnie is the next best musical chameleon next to Ren. Highly suggest two song reaction of The Drug in Me is You and The Drug in Me is Reimagined! You will be amazed.

In Watch The World Burn, he displays his anger with the world and destroys it. In Last Resort, he realizes his destruction has now left him isolated in a broken and crumbling world. His past destruction has only led to despair and loneliness.
Giving in to our anger/rage and/or want for revenge never leads to anything good. You will fall deeper into the hole of negative emotions and find yourself in a colourless world(this video) of despair and depression. You get so deep that you start to think that self deleting is the only option you have left, your "last resort".
But it isn't. Make your cries heard, don't stay silent. There are those out there who will hear your calls, and will help you, those who will tell you things will be fine. Those who will put your fall, in reverse, by helping you pick up all the broken pieces, then make sense of them so your world can fall back into place. Like Maynard said in Tool's song Schism(a bit different context, but still works here), "I know the pieces fit, cause I watched them tumble down." Communication is key. Only you know the blueprint to your life and where the broken pieces fit. Don't go at it alone. Allow others in to help you with the heavy lifting. No one is capable of shouldering the weight of the world alone. Asking for help isn't a sign of weakness. True strength comes in numbers 💪

I did not know that about blue/green screen and skin tones, that is super interesting! I hope you continue down the FIR rabbit hole. There are dozens of reactors I have watched and I love the visual/videographer side you bring. It gives me a whole other level of appreciation for these videos.
I think there is something to be said about the level of excitement and geeking out coming from someone who does this day in day out. Ronnie said something about the majority of music bores him because when you know everything about a subject it is hard to be truly impressed by it.

I mean, damn. The visuals of the world crumbling down, as he's singing about life coming apart. He's all alone. As he gets angry and desperate, the world kind of gets pulled back together, but it doesn't last. Perfect representation.

This was INCREDIBLE!! I have watched many reactions to this but yours... holy cow!! Your reaction made me feel ALL the emotion after watching it when it was first released. I had not ever heard (or don't recall) the Papa Roach one until literally minutes before this version. My 32 year old son told me I needed to... this was an iconic song for him in his teen years.

Also check out the little bit at 7:54 somebody has studied how light gets warped through the flaws in old glass panels and actually simulated (I assume it's rendered) that distortion to fade Ronnie out of the shot completely as the focal distance pulls back from him to the glass. That's some insane attention to detail for 1 second of video.
